in the Article: Merger Approval Means Cingular Will Be Renamed AT&T forum

LMAO...I mean Cingular spends money to rename AT&T Wireless and there are still old AT&T Legacy customers...and now this....I mean this is too much and yeah the name will be back to AT&T Wireless. I liked Cingy and the logo....but Ma Bell is back and she is BAD!!

in the Article: T-Mobile Switches Focus With New Tagline, Plans forum

:D Ok people...here is how this works. On the single line plans if you want the MyFaves...it will be $10 more....such as the 39.99 gets you 600 min with unlimited nights/weekends...well for 39.99 on my faves...will get you 300 minutes with the unlimited nights/weekends...so just start at the bottom and at $10 for the MyFaves. It will also work on the family plans BUT...no unlimited M2M...if you want that it will be an extra $9.99 for the ...

in the Article: Mobile ESPN Throws In The Towel forum

 Ok...in the words of Jerry McGuire.."SHOW ME THE MONEY!!" ROLL OVER is a crock and so is the LG CU500 and the Samsung ZX20. Oh yeah...Cingular....we buy out companies then screw the old customers...but wait...we brought back AT&T...and might waste another $250 million to rebrand!! I could care less...this is about an ESPN...good idea...but did not take off...though will give credit about the Sanyo-9000....Sprint customers were pissed when it left like the Samsung A940. ...

in the Article: Nokia Shows Off Clamshell With Stereo Bluetooth forum

Yeah I don't think so and the problem with Verizon and Bluetooth is that they lock most of the profiles. Remember the class action lawsuit with the V710?? So I think if they are going to release more BT phones they need to let all the profiles go with some because of DRM on wma's and mp3's.

in the Article: Palm Sets UMTS Treo Loose forum

Because T-Mobile does not support UMTS in the US yet. They have it in Euro on the 2100Mhz but that's why they tried to buy as much of the new license from the recent aution to bring more function to the network. Right now they are working on a full roll out of UMA and the beta tests are almost done. With UMA is going to be fast but its like bluetooth and has a limited ...

I wonder how Samsung is going to take this??

in the Article: Sprint Gets Cozy With Motorola forum

:o Samsung might take this move as a slap in the face. I mean the Blade was to counter the RAZR. With the new KRZR on the way as well as the SLVR...Sprint users are going to see the battle between Motorola and Samsung...so let the battle begin!!

in the Article: Revision A Rollout Swifter Than Sprint Expected forum

:paranoid: Ok Rev. A is good but if SprintNextel wants to make a statement they should drop the ED-DO and just go to ED-DV. It will reduce the amout of network lag time as well as develop the VoIP for them. With the co-branding they are going to roll out with Comcast, Time Warner, and more the ED-DV would be the best fit for the @home DVR from your wireless and more mobile content. Well that's ...

in the Motorola i930 / i920 forum

Yeah this phone is going to run Windows Mobile 2003 SE but Sprint might offer an upgrade to Windows Mobile 5.0 later this year. This phone should have been out last year but I know how many bugs Windows phones have because I had an Mpx220. And this is not going to be the iDEN flagship phone...just another high priced wannabe. The i870 blows this phone out with a better camera 1.3 vs VGA...bluetooth...off network PTT..and ...

8O Not sure about this for 1 ED-VO is barly into markets across the USA and Verizon does not contract enough handset for that speed. On the other hand it does give a chance for others to join in....I wonder if Qwest try as well as Virgin and ESPN mobile.

in the Article: AT&T Considering Brand Revival After Merger forum

AT&T...they are morons....first off back when the parent company bought out TCI Cable...then the stock voters said to split up the companies...big mistake!! The way it should have been was to keep AT&T whole with everything...but now that they sold AT&T Broadband and now AT&T Wireless...they are kicking themselves in the A$% right now because they could have bought more and grew as well. Oh well such as life!!

in the Article: Cingular, Vodafone Vie for AT&T Wireless forum

I say if it has to be one or the other give me Cingular. Once the merger is complete we get faster EDGE because so far AT&T is got is most of its major markets and finally a large GSM provider here in the US...I mean personally I would have loved to see T-Mobile make a bid but now...I am going to sit and watch...and if vodafone came in...GSM and W-CDMA...i think that is a awesome combo as ...

in the Article: AT&T Wireless Bidding Begins forum

Being in the wireless business for the past 5 years....DoCoMo honestly would just sell their shares of ATTWS and get out....unless they want to use a GSM/WCDMA phone here in the US. Customer wise I would love to see T-Mobile bid for ATTWS. WHY?? Because T-Mobile is the the larger GSM provider here in the US...also has T-Mobile worldwide. It would make a better business deal because get more customers and become a big player ...
