Make sure you subscribe to the unlimited data plan for $40 per month. The way it is configured (not to disconnect) is the way all of them are setup at my company. However with the unlimited data plan, there are no additional costs ... ever. We did have a problem with a couple of them when we first got them were Verizon had them provisioned incorrectly in their system which charged us for "usage". They should be ...

The good news is that yes, you can select Push using the Sync 2.0 software that Verizon is now providing or you can turn it off and get it only when you want (pull). Analog is going away, but if you happen to be in a remote area that has yet to switch to Digital, I don't think you want to sit and wait up to a decade for them to build digital towers if you can get through today via an analog (agreeably inferior quality) signal. I believe in belt and suspenders. Until we are 100% digital, if you can, get the insurance of the tri-mode.

Just got a price from Verizon yesterday of $479 before discount. Saw advertised on Verizon last evening, a $200 discount on all combination data/voice products.
