Windows mobile I think should have integrated the Zune and Xbox stuff from the get go being as they both provide service that alot of their customers already want and pay for. That would have probably instantly increased their market share on smartphones/pdas instantly. We will see how this measures up (has to do well because people are lazy and don't want to configure anything they just want "an app for that").

Well arguments stated I have owned all of the latest phone OS except Palm, and I am still with WinMo. And I must say I am very satisfied anything the other OS can do so can my windows mobile, handle email are you kidding me as you would say for your iphone (to get push) windows has an app for that too. Sync itunes oh windows can do that, social networking apps (seriously) have you tried the ...

Hope they figure this issue out

I am sure they will, but I think that is the only difference between Tmobile and carriers like VZ and ATT (I am not bashing) but the amount of hours that are put into testing is the reason why these two companies take so long to come out with phones. (or they use to) The downside to that is that Tmobile has the hottest phones on the market usually before anyone else.

If this is successfully done right here in US

Yeah from working at ATT for a while during the Iphone release and such you would be surprised at how many people flopped to Iphone even though it was edge and people were constantly on them searching web and most of them are on youtube daily because of the ease of access. Now think about this everyone's mom and grandma has one now and they are on 3g = faster = more data transmitted= more users= strained network ...

in the Article: Dual OSes Headed to Smartphones Via Virtualization forum

The G1 and TP are for the most part the same phone despite the resistive and captive screen (and OS of course). Software resources for the most part look for drivers and most of the phones out here today use the same Qualacom processors (for smartphones/pda, the same way I am able to run Win 7 on my PC and Laptop along with Fedora 12 and everything works). And pxe is also called network booting, if you, ...

Don't be so optimistic with the new era of computing going to cloud, it would probably be more beneficial to have a pxe device (just putting theory out there) that gives you two or more options for an OS. Therefore eliminating the large amount of memory problem. Cloud flashing I would call it and based on device it should be a service offered by providers to give customers what they need to have CHOICE :)

for this phone the windows 6.5 would be ideal

in the Article: Review: HTC Touch Pro2 forum

I am thinking of getting one but the only thing holding me back is for one the lack of Flash which after having one on my TP makes it almost a necessity. And secondly I am hearing rumors of a HTC Leo. I have had HTC (every US GSM version) and Iphones. But for IT work and other business related a keypad and windows is a must. I will probably pick this phone up but ...

in the Article: Microsoft Clarifies Windows Mobile Features by Version forum

Facebook app is ok but I think that windows mobile needs to pay xda developers for their hardwork they already have a facebook app inside the address that updates status. The reason microsoft is stepping it up isn't because the iphone and other devices, its that they are seeing that they need to persue something other than the businesses and sell more to the common everyday person.
