Call quality using GrooVe IP, TalkaTone, NetTALK, etc on a smartphone
I've seen articles about using VOIP apps on a smartphone when connected to wifi to save on voice minutes. But is the call quality anywhere as good as using the normal cell tower? I'd like to know before I get a prepaid plan with low voice minutes.

But I will say that I've been a happy PagePlus customer for a couple years. I have two family phones and two business phones all on the pay-as-you-go plan. Well, I would much prefer spending $20 than purchasing a data cable, downloading BitPim (or whatever it's called) and playing with it for half a day in effor to unlock a phone. Been there, done that, not worth the effot.

Should I use a non-OEM battery in my RAZR?
I have a fairly new battery in my RAZR V3m but due to heavy use I have to charge it nearly every evening. I see a lot of non-OEM extended batteries with the door for the RAZR for sale on eBay and all of them say something like, "This battery is made specifically for your cellular phone and to meet or exceed the original manufacturer specifications."
