I've seen articles about using VOIP apps on a smartphone when connected to wifi to save on voice minutes. But is the call quality anywhere as good as using the normal cell tower? I'd like to know before I get a prepaid plan with low voice minutes.

Well, I'll confess that I'm just joining this thread, and no, I haven't read all the replies. But I will say that I've been a happy PagePlus customer for a couple years. I have two family phones and two business phones all on the pay-as-you-go plan. I registered all phones on the PP website, buy my PINs through CallingMart with my PayPal account, then just copy and paste the PIN to the phone I want to add minutes to. I ...

Well, I would much prefer spending $20 than purchasing a data cable, downloading BitPim (or whatever it's called) and playing with it for half a day in effor to unlock a phone. Been there, done that, not worth the effot. Thanks for your advice.

I have an old Sony Ericsson T226 from back when Cellular One was still in business. One of my employees needs a cell phone briefly and I would like to buy a prepaid SIM card and use it with this phone. I really don't want a postpaid account because he's only going to be using this phone for a few weeks at most. Will the T Mobile prepaid SIM card be compatible with this old phone? I looked on ...

I have a fairly new battery in my RAZR V3m but due to heavy use I have to charge it nearly every evening.
