Re: Palm PDA Phones for Verizon?
i use the kyocera 7135 palm OS phone myself, and i've never had a network issue. i thought it had been pulled only because of one bad run of batteries (product number ending in -5). i would like to see if any other mfg's are coming out with palm OS phones though...i'm not a huge fan of the microsoft platform
ERI
just wondering if anyone out there knew a way to disable the ERI on a motorola v60i from verizon wireless? i get asked that a lot (and i'm curious myself), so if anyone knows a trick i'd appreciate the help. i'm not worried about roaming or anything, so the ERI really has no benefit for me (that i'm aware of)
thanks.

Re: Verizon Push to talk
verizon was testing a samsung phone for their push to talk service but it is no longer in test markets. there are currently NO phones in test market for their push to talk service.
Re: Why would anyone sign up with Sprint PCS?
this was just leaked from an exec at MTV - sprint pcs is actually just an ashton kutcher stunt. all sprint users just got PUNK'D
haha :)

verizons network does still have analog but everything that they represent on coverage maps is there current digital service. lets be ...
Re: which is better? Verizon, ATT or Cingular, also number portability
you can still port if you are outside of the topp 100 areas but you are not going to get a quick turn areound time. the fcc is not going to gaurantee your number being ported, i believe until may of this year. so yes you can keep your number even outside of top 100 markets but how long you wait is a whole other story.
Re: Verizon Wireless Kyocera Slider Phone ( please help)
i cannot speak for corporately owned Verizon stores but i can tell you that a reseller like myself does offer all of our phones on Verizons freeup service. The only exception to that rule is with our push to talk capable phones. i am only able to activate ptt phones on ptt rate plans. Be aware that the type of discount on the handset itself is not nearly as much as when you are signing a ...
collect call to a cell
i had a customer ask me if you could make collect calls to a cell phone. according to her she was not able to make collect calls to anything but landlines while in prison.
any thoughts?
