no collect calls to cells becasue they do not track incoming calls, if a customer were to get a collect call and by the time they got the invoice they would want to know,who called them, blah blah blah..anyway to prevent problems they just make it so you can't call collect, hope this helps.

I don't think it is a bother at all, you for some reason really like attws, and I don't mind your question or looking up the zipcode for you every couple of weeks. But as for the reps knowing, like I said we will only know when it happens not a moment before. You see, customer service reps, at least at ATTWS, we don't usually know about the decisions from upstairs until the day, or in some case up to a week after, the policy or change has been made. They really don't tell us anything in CS until it has already happened. So please don't think that ...

it will be the end of the world as you know it!! no really LNP will go into effect, Line Number Portability, which means if you are not happy with your serivce provider you can leave and take your number with you! if you plan on doing this call your service provider to find out the proper way to do this, cause if you don't you could loose you number and not get it back!

I have heard the Nokia 3595 is a pretty solid basic GSM phone!! but once again this is what I have hear, I have no personal experience with the phone!

Hey, just to let you know, I do not know much about GSM/GPRS service with ATTWS. :oops: I would not really want to give advise on something I know nothing or litte about!! I will be GSM trained soon and will be glad to answer any question you may have after my training sorry I couldn't help out ! PS I am still glad to answer any question you have about ATTWS TDMA service.

no they are updating their software, and it is only for the GSM service not TDMA.

Its OK pal. if working at ATTWS is too complicated for you then there are other option you may want to pursue. It will be ok you just need something a little bit simpler, "Do you want fries with that?" k that was the last one I swear!

It tells me we don't offer service 32614 area, so I guess you can't go on National and for that matter you shouldn't be allowed on the local or even get service with ATTWS? that does suck because you are just outside out service area. Sorry could be much more help than that. Is you billing addy at the 32614 addy as well?

is it really that hard to remember any phone number. I mean come on dude it is only 10 (1-9) numbers and 3 of them should be really easy! if it is really that big a deal maybe you shouldn't have a phone!
