You are right comparing a smart phone to a handset isn't an accurate way to judge features. Two different phones with completely different services aimed at different clientele.

I saw a dummy model of the EnV3. The front display is much larger and there is a key for a favorites list on the upper left hand side. I am excited to see if it has threaded messaging. Plus I heard a rumor that the price is gonna be less. :D

The phone is directed at the Tween's, I sold the first Rumor for Sprint and had a lot of parents pick up the phone too. The Rumor 2 is gonna have different back plates and an extra row of keys to make texting easier! This phone will have a broad appeal..

Even though this phone will be able to perform a lot of the same functions pda's and smartphones do, it is not either one. This phone has plenty of customizable options. The interface was made for versatility.

I'm excited, the detachable keyboard and threaded text messaging make this device perfect for me. I can't wait to see one.
