Delta, Good news man, I was able to correct the "increasing ring volume", and also "Yes" you can customize your message alerts. The bad news is that by reading your reply I highly doubt that you have read your manual from cover to cover because the customization of message alerts are easily found and until now I have never heard of anyone having problems with this. To fix the increasing ring problem, I suggest going to the ...

This weekend I ended up purchasing the T616. Although I really havent had the time and have not been in the different areas to give it a complete review, I absolutely love the phone thus far. I will continue to post threads on here as I find out the "Pros and Cons" of this phone. The only major con I have thus far is: 1) The option to be able to turn "off" the "Increasing Ring" ...

Any comments will help..... And if you have not tried the phone in Texas, but somewhere else, a comment on the reception where you've been can also be a great help.

Yes, it does help. Honestly (in the back of my mind) I kinda had a feeling that there must be other differences than the MHz. ANYONE else with a bit more info on either of these phones? Both good and bad comments will help me....

The Nokia 7250 series is INCREDIBLE, but WHY wont it work here in the US?

I mean, it operates on the same GSM networking system as the U.S. (900/1800/1900), well actually most U.S. systems (that is GSM) runs at 850, but is there really a difference between 850 and 900 or is there something other than this difference that I dont see which would cause problems? If I go ahead and purchase one from overseas' what problems am I likely to encounter?

What problems will I have if buying a Phone over the net vrs ....

Ive found a better deal on purchasing a Ericsson T616 over the net (on-line store for free vrs walking into my local Cingular dealer where it will cost me $100.00 after a rebate). Anyway, my question is: Its obvious the "on-line" store is giving the phone away cause they want to get credit for signing you up with their carrier which in this case is Cingular. My current carrier is already Cingular therefore are they or will they still ...

Only ONE difference between the T610 and T616 ????????

Comments on either the T610 or the T616 are highly needed (BOTH THE GOOD AS WELL AS THE BAD), even if you do not know the answers to the following 3 questions...... -------------------------- --------------------- I have been doing research on both the T610 and T616. Thus far the ONLY differences I can see is that the T610 operates using GSM 900 vrs the T616's GSM is operating at 850. 1) Can someone tell me if one is "better" than ...

I have been doing research on both the T610 and T616. Thus far the ONLY differences I can see is that the T610 operates using GSM 900 vrs the T616's GSM is operating at 850. 1) Can someone tell me if one is "better" than the other? The weird thing is that the T610's GSM is 900 (you would naturally think that a higher number is ...

Thinking about buying a Nokia that isnt here in the USA just yet.

Ive been looking around and I truly like the Nokia 7250i (the reviews are great and not to mention all the features it has). So when calling up Cingular to see if they carry it, of course the answer is "no". So I then resort to "E-Bay" where one can purchase almost anything and everything.. Well, Im a bit scared as to if it will still work over here (yes, GSM 850/1800/1900). ...
