As a former Shack now Target Mobile employee, allow me to apologize for my "colleagues'" piss poor jobs. While it might not seem like it, there are many of us whose absolute last resort is to send them to you corporate guys. And the good news is, we're getting our own Celebrite machines in, so you'll see less of our customers.
That said, there are PLENTY of incompetent corporate employees. Ones that like to "charge" for data transfer ...

Seriously, it's Qik's fault here, not Sprint or HTC or Google.
But honestly, I'm not surprised. As soon as the rep's got their EVOs, and the video conferencing wasn't ready, I knew it would be an issue. I'm looking forward more to Skype's video chat more anyway.

While AT&T is freaking out about bandwith, cutting away from unlimited data, and pretending like it's an effort to save customers money (which is why they've always been one of the more expensive options, right?), Sprint can simply come out and say "Come get an EVO. It's not limited, and it's faster." And even with the reduced prices, assuming no overages, they're still a better value:
AT&T iPhone:
Minimum: $55 (450 mins, 200MB)
Average: $75 (450 mins, unlimited text, 200MB)
Max: $115 (unlimited ...

Seriously, this ridiculous and seemingly prevailing surly attitude from many (obviously not all or even most) corporate employees is exactly why I get the volume of sales I do. I am constantly told that my store's helpful and generally pleasant attitude is a driving factor as to why people purchase their devices with us. To be fair, I hear it a lot from our AT&T customer's as well, but the fact is that you work at a corporate store. ...

Nations Fastest 3G Network: Ok, given the ideal situations, yes, their speed is the fastest. However, that speed only exists in like Chicago, and it's INCREDIBLY unreliable. The rest of their coverage around the country is slower than Sprint or Verizon. So on a whole, that's a bunch of malarkey.
Talk and surf at the same time: True, BUT only when you're in their 3G coverage. EDGE (which is the vast majority of this coverage) is not able to do ...

I really don't see the point in these comparisons. In my view, they are completely different phones with different targets. Are you a teenager with an excessive amount of media that NEEDS to be accessed at all times and no business responsibilities? 3GS if you can afford it. Do you need to be able to actually do anything business related while still having some media on hand? Then Pre.

You know that by your own logic, you test against the Touch pro is irrelevant, given that there could have been more Sprint users on that tower than Verizon's on yours. Now, I know that you'll scoff at anyone having more of anything than VZW because you're that predictable, but believe it or not, it is entirely possible.
