VZW has traditionally been the highest of the majors. Some people use VZW as their primary data connection not because they are trying to get one over on the man its because VZW cellular data connection is the ONLY consistent servocw they can get at ANY price even if price was no object. Hard to believe, but there are areas where a wired provider can only deliver 512 kbps to 1.5 mbps. So, theyre forced to lean on their smartphone ...

I have been a Sprint subscriber for YEARS and I have FIVE lines on an Everything Data 1500 plan... that has worked out well especially since they bumped me to UNLIMITED minutes with my already UNLIMITED data... ALL FIVE subscriptions are up for the NFYHUP does this mean that I will have to change my service plan to get the subsidy pricing?!?!?!? I know that devices are not "free" and Sprint depends on subscriber commitments to an ongoing MRC to keep ...

I fail to see the necessity of this device. So, it pivots on a car charger base? Correct me if I am wrong but aren't most mobile hot spots able to be charged off a micro usb? Most people driving cars need to have their eyes on the road and driving and most passengers with wifi enabled devices already have a data plan attached. I think this will be eventually filed under "what the (expletive) were they thinking".. ...

Most carriers in most cases pay the manufacturer full MSRP for these wonderful devices that we enjoy. Despite the overwhelming notion that the "actual" cost is only $100 or so and the rest is an "inflated" markup. These devices are very expensive and most carriers device subsidy program (deeply discounted device in exchange for a term commitment of service) nearly bankrupt some carriers. I don't have T Mobile, but what they did made sense. Paraphrased - "We will charge you ...

It would appear that Apple has failed to deliver on the jaw dropping wow factor since they released the iPhone and iPod touch (essentially the same device) back in 2007. The only innovations that I have seen is that they are taking things that have already proven themselves in the marketplace and rebranding it "Apple".

You can say a lot of bad about Apple. But the one thing Apple soundly had was their build quality. I hate their software, business tactics, and most of all the droves of dogmatic iSheep that treat Apple as a way of life and find an elite quality to a device nearly 1 out of 3 smartphone consumers own. Jobs would of never let the 6 plus out like that. This was a half baked market share/cash grab by ...

You cannot offer infinite service on a finite resource. How carriers get around this is unlimited data but at which speed is not a guarantee. Even as a self admitted heavy user, I "get it". Why would you not want to use WiFi where availible over your mobile provider. Even with an "unlimited" plan it saves your battery and is typically faster and more stable. Mr. Hesse & Johnson, I fail to see the intelegence in your business model. Especially when the primary differentiation between carriers is the human interaction. Thats what you sold to your employees for years. Im sorry, if a warm blooded person on the other end of a conversation may of jeopardized your $10M in executive bonus (thats just Dan alone). Sprint's investment in Clear (wire) well excedes the 51% stakehold. Again, Clear(wire)'s inability to meet their contractual fiscal corporate responsibility to Sprint not only failing to meet the minmum payments as agreed but their inability to even meet their interest payments is inexcusable. Sorry Dish, this isnt a corporate buy out that Sprint is offering its a repossession and eviction.
