Re: What does U.S. Cellular Pay? Commission Structure??
I was an authorized agent, and working for USCC was one of the worse decisions I made. I killed in October-December 08... Probably averaged $5000 those 3 months, and than the chargebacks hit in Feb. 09. We were on commission only though, if your getting an hourly you should be fine. The problem agents are having is the lower deposits. Yes it drives more into the stores activating, but 2 months later the phone gets disconnected due to non-payment ...
Re: Data Plans
Yes the Touch Pro has WiFi, but no you won't be able to get it without the data package... If your contract isn't up however, its gunna run you a pretty penny unless you pay an early upgrade fee (esentially buying out the rest of your contract).
Re: Compliant & A Complaint
Yes, starting 2/1/2009, all incoming calls will interrupt your internet browsing.
This will be fixed on all phones starting next month, :)
Re: Compliant & A Complaint
Hey... Glad that USCC gave you that repair cost back... To make the situation brighter for you, starting Feb. 1st, USCC will be fixing that problem you speak of... What happens is, when the phone is connecting to the Bis Server, all incoming phone calls are overridden, hence you won't get them. Starting Feb 1st however, that will be changed so calls take presidence over data....
Hope that helps.
Re: WHY?!
All networks require a data package on all smartphones. Any carrier you go to, will tell you that the mobile web is a required add-on for any Blackberry/Windows Mobile smart phone. AT&T charged $29.99 for theirs, so your actually saving $5. If you want a phone with a keyboard without the data, go with the UX260 or Moto Hint (coming later this month).
Re: Questions Regarding U.S. Cellular
What exactly is a "divested market"... Sorry if I sound stupid, but just started working for USCC. What would that mean for USCC?
