A small correction for Tyllerrocks09. Voice training a phone has nothing to do with the network on the Storm. It uses proprietary software used by many phones today not requiring training. Some networks have voice dialing built into the network, and they may each be different but it has nothing to do with GSM vs. CDMA, but more the program they use.

Thanks Knight. I thought that it was locked down as well. I'm sure there is a way to get around it, but I wasn't able to figure it out before. Maybe on this phone it won't be. So many applications out there now rely on GPS, and if I find the Storm by Verizon is locked down, then it won't be an option. Thanks again.

I would disagree with this. Unless you have fully reviewed the phone in person, this statement has no basis. I have used a dozen touch screen phones, and they all have huge delays. I would state that the Iphone has a very fast user interface reaction. But lets at least let the full blown version with the newest software launch on the 21st before you say, c'mon, it takes forever to make a call even.

After reading your review, you described that the navigation on Google Maps showed you were way off, as in miles, from your true location. When I tried to use Google maps on another Verizon Blackberry, it did the same thing. From what I can tell, it is using the triangulation method, reading your location from the cell towers, and not the GPS. For some reason, the phone is blocking Google Maps from accessing the GPS.
