Re: How much for the data on the behold

Well, as things turned out, the sales rep was full of C$*P. The only plan available supposedly NOW is 25 buck a month because this is a smart phone. I have read that it is not, but TM says it is so it is. Both their website and their mouths ar B&M have changed, so basically, we have to pay an additional 200 bucks a year to use the web functions a couple times a month. ...

Will let you know if I can ever get the Samsung SW to recognize the phone. I'm just talking passing contact info back and forth. As I understand it this will not hook up to enterprise e-mail servers, and maybe not do well on others either.

When we bought ours, they took the mem module out of our V360 and stuck it into the Behold. It had MP3s on it that I dragged from my music files on my computer. I assigned one of them to my number and it works perfectly. Hope that ansewrs your question. OTOH, I COULD NOT GET the Samsung program to recognize the cell phone on my USB, and it would not work right without it ...

We paid 10 bucks for a pink one that leaves the screen exposed, if that's what you mean. It was at the TMOBILE store. 15 bucks for 10 screen protectors that looked like bubblewrap after the "expert" at the store put it on for us. Seemed a bit steep. They should have paid us to let him practice on ours.

Here is what we were told: 10.00 for 5MB plus a bunch of text messages, I think 400. 10.00 for 10MB of Internet only, with x dollars per extra MB with a $15.00 cap. No text msgs. 20.00 for unlimited Internet, maybe it was $25. Hope that gets you in the ballpark. That was in San Diego. Could be anything anyplace else depending on who you talk with. They had not even been trained when I first asked ...

I will say, however, that perhaps we differ on what it means to be "connected on a call." When the phone is ringing, the behold says "connecting." It is not until the called phone is answered that I would consider it "connected." In this case, the speakerphone is available immediately after dialing, and may be available before that with a setting change. Just thinking about all possibilities, but our problem is fixed. Thanks, CV

Sorry, but that is not the case with our phone now that I figured out what was happening last night. Now, I dial a call and immediately, the speakerphone icon pops up. When I hit it, I can hear the ringing that one normally hears when placing a call. What was happening last night, and I think customer service should have known if they were properly trained on this phone, was that the Bluetooth was on and it was connecting ...

Behold Speakerphone Problem

Hi, New member here. Just bought a Behold today at a tmo store. Fooling around with it and trying to answer all my wife's questions, and find something really screwy. When we make a call, toward the bottom of the screen, there is a speakerphone icon. Push it and nothing happens. Screen says CONNECTING...but cannot hear the ringing one would normally hear while placing a call. Still trying to hit SPEAKERPHONE, but it does not work. ...
