I agree with everything you said. Unfortunately VZW has created this monster and must continue to feed it. If they don't feed it, it will bite back. The company wants us to give great service with each customer but the company continues to strap our hands when it comes to dealing with customers. Examples of that are discounting, replacing phones out of warranty...I could go on but I wont. The pressure to hit some of the crazy monthly goals ...

Corporate stores will not exchange or let you return your phone to them in the first 30 days. Any technical issues, they will assist you. But that is the chance you take when you buy from a non - corporate store location.

So when are you going to Sprint??? Apparently cost is an issue, even though AT&T plans almost mirror verizon...Every offer that is put out by Verizon will not be for everyone. Obviously this is not for you, do what is best for you.

I went from the storm to the droid X. Love my droid X. Touchscreen and internet browsing is a lot better than my storm. Epik, pretty much hit it on the head as far as giving you a good anaylsis. Droid Pro, Droid Pro 2 should be in stores mid november if you can hold out that long. Good luck.

I think we will see the Droid Pro by Thanksgiving. There will be the low end moto droid released soon as well. A possible LG PDA coming soon as well, by the end of the year another possible 10 phones. It will be interesting.......

I have the droid X. I like it a lot. If I didn't have the X I would get the fascinate. The screen on the fascinate is nice. U can't go wrong with either. Play with them before u decide.

Once everything is returned, your upgrade dates and your new every two date should go back to what it was prior to your upgrade. Just check and make sure it is put back to the correct dates.

If you are thinking of going to AT&T because of the data requirement on verizon, then you really dont want the samsung reality. You just want someone to remove the feature for you. Just go to AT&T and you wont have to have anyone try to remove the feature.

Company toadies? Get real, he should not have posted that here and he now understands why. If someone is going to cancel over the 9.99 fee, then cancel and go somewheree else. They can be replaced, and next time get a phone that doesn't require any other require charges.........

Epik, there is a way in NetAce to remove it,but I wont post it here. Doing that is a revenue killer. When the company loses revenue they may start to make more changes.......like letting some employees go. Or changing our discounts or benefits.

So because loyal patronage to verizon,which only has been in existence for 10 years, you feel because of this loyality you shouldn't have to pay this? There are non- data options, the question is do you like those options? Would you leave your electric provider, or favorite food chain due to a change in price? If so, is that loyality?

Check with your local store. Some stores are different. Some will replace employee phones, some will not. You may get a rep who will do it, but you will have to do the esn change yourself. If they dont, then you will have to call employee accounts.

The fascinate is a good device. It has better battery life than the droid X. It has the samsunug UI on it that looks like the omnia II. If you install launcher pro it is a lot nicer. Screen quality is very good, crisp. Internet browsing is ok. But you will not lose much if any by going with the fascinate.

It would so nice to have all of the cheap people who buy their phones online to get all of the services online. Let online set up your email, transfer your contacts, pictures. Let online show how to use your device. If you dont want the phone and you want to return, dont bring it to the store, send it back where you purchased in from.

The droid 2 received a patch. They are trying to get it out to the Incredible now. There were some issues with the droid update. Some phones didn't start up after update. But that has been fixed.

Still pushing to the moto droid. Will push to the Incredible next then the droid X. Hopefully by the first week in september it should roll out.

At a store, they can have the sim card activated immediately and given the same service they receive over the phone and get clairification of any questions of coverage that they may have.

You can go into a store, there are knowledgeable reps in the store that can help you. Or contact global support and they will advise of your calling rates, and they will setup your device.

The shipping times have changed. Also each area is different depending which warehouse the phones are shipped from.

Corporate stores will not have this phone in stock on 8/11. It may never get back to the store. They are 2 - 3 weeks out on orders. Unless the Droid 2 sells really well, the back orders will continue.
