Lag???
Ive been using the Tmobile variant since launch and havent experience any lag in TouchFlo3D. I mainly use PointUI Home2 as the interface.
Heres the problem for broadcasters
As someone with a insiders view , the problem with delaying the Feb switchover is that:
1. A lot of broadcasters will have tower leases for their analog antenna that end on or around the Febuary cutoff date
2. A lot of broadcasters have tower crews scheduled to complete antenna change outs and or removal of analog antennas (for maximizing of the digital signal) over the next few weeks leading up to the planned febuary cutoff date. It would be hard ...
They are only selling the physical structure.....
They are not selling their coverage. Radio towers are expensive to maintain. You have to worry about obstruction lighting, paint, security, registering with FAA, FCC, ect, collecting rent from other tennants, on and on. You have liability if the structure falls, if a tower worker falls off, so all in all its best that the towers themselves are managed by a company who does only that.
Re: mobile tv/sprint
Actually the original ATT Wireless was the first national carrier to offer a live TV service back in 2004, as well as the first carrier with 3G. They were ahead of their time, but this made them vulnerable.
UMA.....on Tmobile
Could we see the UMA variant show up for Tmobile US. The SE t506 has sold relatively well as SEs first tmo phone in 4 years.
Re: Can you say...
Actually, Motorola has some good touch based phones in the A series (A780, A1200, A1600 ect) which are based on Linux and closely resemble this model. They certainly arent new to touchscreen, just dont sell any here in the US.
