Maybe I'm a total dud...
But why is there no fee if it's set up as an auto bill pay? Isn't it the same process? Or can they make a deal with your company of choice to always have it set on a certain date and therefore it gets rid of the fee? It doesn't make any sense to me unless it's that. Processing a CC is the same regardless, so please do enlighten me!
Re: Nice job
Ever :?
Re: you don't need a task killer anyway
Agreed, if I do want to close anything on my Epic Samsung gave me that power (not that Android can't handle itself).
But if you check out the promo video on youtube for this sexy (i do understand it's RIM we're talking about), it shows signs of a huge ripoff of WebOS. I can't be crazy.
Re: LED flashng and notification tones
Oh and the LED...I haven't seen this issue (the light never shuts up until I check what I've missed). Possibly try and wipe the device and see if it changes it.
Re: LED flashng and notification tones
Inside each of those applications they have a settings option when you press the menu key. Make a notifications folder in your storage card's root folder (not inside another folder), and drop sounds into it to make them appear as notifications options.
Re: FOR ALL THE SH%T TALKERS
You could be right. But like i said this was merely an idea. I can't see "4g use" anywhere in the system, leading me to believe that there's just no management of usage on our side.
Re: FOR ALL THE SH%T TALKERS
Of course Sprint pumps money into Clear, and the additional funding has to come from somewhere. Ownership and maintenance are still two different things, aside from the 51% stake, what other partnership is there? Sprint doesn't maintain it. Sprint doesn't bill it. Sprint uses it. That's about it, hence why i had the thought process.
Re: FOR ALL THE SH%T TALKERS
As a corporate employee (or corporate serving fanboy as you put it) who also doesn't understand the $10 charge, or buy into the "explanation" my employer asks me to use, here's the best i can conjure.
Sprint intended to charge the $10 no matter what, I'm sure as a way to bring in cash for the 4g buildout. Who builds this network? Clear correct? Let's remind ourselves that Sprint doesn't operate the network nor controls the billing of it (clear ...
Re: WOW, THAT'S GREAT........
I'm pretty sure the point is that joe-shmoe consumer isn't going to stumble upon the opera website all by themselves. A generic link to this and a bunch of others just opens that good ol' doorway.
Re: exactly
Agreed. An app that does the job for you just isn't the same as one that empowers you. "I, an AT&T consumer, have dropped a call, I MUST tell someone!" This will help them with that. If said app did the job for them their frustration doesn't voluntarily go anywhere, it festers and potentially gets shoved into the nearest person's ear...BAD PUBLICITY. It all seems like a ruse to me but hey, when you put the "power" in the ...
Re: $70 Unlimited plans...
There's still a cap for consumers, but business plans (tax id's and such) will be allowed unlimited 3g data as well. Off-network roaming is still limited to 300mb though.
Re: True FLASH Player
Just download the Skyfire browser, problem solved.
Re: Does not support push email for AOL, etc...
There is a program called Seven that will push any email. I used to use it for my Yahoo addresses. It is free but there is a one time international text message sent from the program to register it, it's a very nifty application and I recommend it if you get this device.
Re: Verizon...
Sprint doesn't require it but for two smartphones, the pre and the instinct as of now, everyone else has a choice to add, or remove, pending on the features you'd like from the data plan. Blackberries will just be crippled to the max while other smartphones will just go pay per use (up to $75 in data charges).
Re: $160 is a bit much!
Wasn't it mentioned before that 4g didn't carry a cap? So you'd techinically be good to go if you were in a 4g area
Re: 70$ for unlimited data and voice. no bargin!
Ummm...how in the hell did big orange, and then big blue yet again, not ding you and take that away? I remember the att wireless customer base getting they're plans "revamped" to suck ass when their contracts were over
Re: I told you so...
Ahhh Rockit Talk must be making a comeback
Re: Are You Kidding Me
 I mean your contacts/phone book and the comp, that second iPhotos appearance is not supposed to be there, god i'm hungover.
Re: Are You Kidding Me
Sorry, the 2nd iPhotos appearance is actually supposed to be your contacts, hangover's are not for the wise.
Re: Are You Kidding Me
iPhotos and Mobile Me not sure, but yes and yes to your iCal and iPhotos, and wirelessly. So...there you go, you should probly still keep to your iphone, but hey more information can't hurt anybody. /;|
Re: stop insisting that your data plan is unlimited!
Unlimited doesn't have to be unlimited...
Based on rules and facts you can be degraded to lower network standards which will throw you on slower speeds, making you feel as if you want to give up on it after awhile, therefore butchering your thoughts on downloading whatever is on the list and making you quit on your data, stupid but it's a technicality they can get away with, get used to it, cause no matter what company it is they ...
Re: I'll be selling mine on E-bay.
In the long run? you're full of sh**
Re: Oh jeez, you're going to sell all 10 of them?
bold = curve on sprint
bold = 3g blackberry
curve & pearl = whatever blackberry is on sprint besides 8350i on nextel
willing to hear what you say makes the bold better and a much more capable phone than anything on sprint, because users do not say the same. throw your facts act me, cause i don't disagree with you, i'd just like to know
Re: You Tube Issues
Software update fixes this
Re: Ring tones
Typically you'll have to get your files saved to the device's onboard memory for them to be used as ringtones. I don't personally have the phone so i'm not sure, but you can always upload whatever you want to use to site like www.funformobile.com and then download them to your phone via the phone's browser, it's quick and easy, hope that helps.

Re: Very Aggressive!
I'm reading the flyer right now and it says 24 hours...
Re: Posed 100 times through phonescoop im sure
There is a registry edit that can be done, and a few cab installations that help although not making it perfect. Hit up www.ppcgeeks.com
There are numerous discussions about it and some quick fixes.
Re: replacement back cover?
I'd try to just go into a sprint store and see if they have any extras, i know at my store we've got plenty and we'd just hook you up. It's worth a shot.
Re: I like this browser
It definitely steps up the resolution for use with the touch diamond...images don't look AS crappy
Re: Premier For Everyone
All i know is all hell is about to break lose now that word of this has gotten out...welcome back to ridiculously long hold times everyone. :?
Re: Premier For Everyone
I don't believe that should've happened. It's not necessarily geared toward specific phone numbers, but it's an account level service. It could be that you were switched from a primary line to a secondary and that could've accidentaly wiped it. I would call and ask because if you're supposed to be preimere you shouldn't ever lose it.
Only other thought i have is that the premiere program did kind of change and now since you're new number is associated with ...
Keyboard
Is there an on-screen keyboard pre-loaded on the phone? If not what's the call on installing a third party one?
Re: 3way calling
Initiate your first call, after they answer, goto the dial pad, dial your number then hit the send key (hardware key). once that call is initiated press the send key again and it will merge the calls, hope that helps
Re: Storing MP3's on Internal Memory
you should just stick it in a music folder on your internal storage (4gb) and just touch library when you're at the music tab goto your songs or artists section and once you pick one it should populate all your songs, worked for me at least.
Re: Storage Memory Questions
With touchflo going you don't really need to be a packrat with anything. I found that always closing your apps is the best, but picture mail is a dealbreaker, every sent and recieved message make a home in your operating/storage memory. Email and text will do the same so if there's something you can do without get rid of it. Lastly go to your memory status and look toward the bottom of the screen when it shows your ...
Re: internal storage
connect the phone to your computer using the usb, select disk drive on your phone. Goto my computer and there should be a removable drive that represents the phone on your computer, right click and format it, give it time as it takes a few minutes, once it's done it should bring your internal memory back, you might have to try a few times but i did the same thing when my memory disappeared after i reset the phone.
Re: Diamond Opera browser web site info???
Wish it were that simple, but every diamond i've seen is coded to redirect itself to mobile sites, due to it identifying itself as a mobile phone. Doing this let the phone identify itself as a desktop. I've sold and seen enough of the sprint diamonds go out and this is alwyas the case.
Re: Diamond Opera browser web site info???
I do not take credit for this fix but if you go into opera and type into the url opera:config then scroll down to user agent then scroll down to Customer User-Agent and type in Mozilla/4.0 (Compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 6.0; en)
98% of your websites will appear full (cnn, yahoo, google, etc) a few might still redirect you but this will mostly fix the problem...
once again i do not take credit for this fix, i found this on ...
