I navigated through the site and found that they put your credit card number on file, and also run a crdit check prior to sending out the phone. But with them letting you get the phone online....WHAT ABOUT FRAUD? Its a starting business with what seems to be not too many recources to protect them. in my opinion, i think they should only work out of a retail location for the time being to protect them from being taken ...

and if anyone can get some contact info for the group, that would be great. I would love to get some small flyers printed out to pass around to some of our white glove customers who need new handsets.

Great idea!!

this is one of the best ideas ive seen in the wireless industry. I guess the only drawback is that your not renting to own. I wouldnt be surprised if we see the carriers of these handsets starting a program very similar to this. And to have thier business posted on rcr wireless news and phone scoop should attract a ton of business for the new company. I hope the best of luck to them. Cause i see alot ...

in the Article: Voice Coming to WiMAX Networks in Korea forum

im sorry everyone, but i have to agree with stoopered. I was reading a few articles on rcrwireless news that were alot more interesting than korea getting wimax. you really cant get into too much detail than just plain out saying "korea is getting wimax". That pretty much somes up the whole story right there. On another note though, we are definately behind on technology compared to other countries, and i do hope that korea can make something out ...

in the Article: Sprint to Pay More to Virgin Mobile for Customers forum

I hope someone figures it out. The stores have been filled with nothing but complaints the last few months. Everytime we get an awesome phone, theres this huge known issue with it (rumor, instinct, katana 2, centro, etc...). Hopefully this gets virgin mobile to attract customers to the store on a positive note. 9 out of 10 times, when a customer comes in to the store to buy minutes or purchase a virgin mobile phone, we talk them into ...

what is sprint doing?

in the Article: Sprint Announces Open Location Development Platform forum

All these things that are coming out are just a big waste of money. STOCKS ARE DOWN!!! Sprint is so stuck on targeting businesses that its driving the company into the ground. You just cant jump into the business channel without having a good customer base first. They need to work on gaining individual liable lines before they try hitting all these companys. These business owners are going to the companys that thier families are at, not just someone ...

in the Article: BlackBerry 8350i Pushes Its Way Onto Sprint's Network forum

a customer brought one in today and left it here for a few hours so we cam demo it. this blackberry is phenominal!! the screen resolution is great, the dc is great (same as any other nextel phone), and the features are just unheard of for a nextel blackberry. the set-up and theme are just like any other blackberry. i was skeptical about it because of the other blackberrys that nextel has released. but after seeing this, im sure ...

sprint/nextel? :(

in the Article: BlackBerry 8350i Pushes Its Way Onto Sprint's Network forum

I really hope with all these new phones coming out, it helps the company get back off the ground. Were at 1.82 a share right now, with no investors. But if you check out at&t or verizon, thier still over 30.00 a share. Alhough these new phones that have the nextel direct connect with the sprint voice are awesome, (and selling really fast), theres still a large part of the network that isnt turned on with it yet. iknow ...

the kay will activate once the car is on, like a remote car starter. theres cars that turn off when you havent made your car payment. the device will go inside the car, so no matter what key is inserted. but what if the driver lets someone use thier car?

what if the teen is driving and needs directions. i understand text messaging, but what about calls? everytime the teen needs directions thier gonna have to pell over and turn the car off. and why is it only targeted towards teens, ive been rear ended by people in thier 40`s cause thier trying to text message. its a great safety tool, dont get me wrong. but there should be a little more detail to this. i think that the ...

thats absolutely right, and 99% of the time we give an additional rebate on top of the 150. besides, when you cancel, the retention department tells you that theres a charge of 200 for canceling. and what about the customers that didnt pay thier bill and decided to let it hit thier credit reports?

i completely disagree!!!!!
Dec 10, 2008, 3:40 PM
in the Article: Sprint Receives Preliminary Approval to Settle ETF Claims forum

Im not saying this just because i work for sprint, I completely disagree about the whole lawsuit. Cellphone providers pay good money for the phones they give away at discounted prices. The etf fees are whats used to recuperate the initial loss at the point of sale. Besides, their explained when you activate! How do you not understand 6 months down the road? I think the only way these etf fees should be waived is if the consumer brings ...

its amazing what you can get from a pre paid nowadays. you can surf the web, download ringtones and calltones, and get a monthly plan that beats the competitors sometimes. if my bill wasnt free, id have a pre-paid.

stop and think about what you just said. i see business owners with regular phones, your average razor or nokia flip-phone. the instinct isnt a pda device, its not supposed to edit documents genious. wow, i forgot that every business owner in the world does email, and has to edit documents. i guess thats why joe the plumber didnt edit that document before he sent it to the ceo of plumbers!!

rugged phones are designed to withstand a little more abuse than your average phone. the gzone and the rugby are both good devices. now nextel phones were very durable! i havent seen anything compete with them yet. this new land rover phone might give nextel some great competition.

The signal is different in different markets, so no company is really better. verizon is known for targeting unpopulated areas. while in metropolitan at&t has some of the most advanced coverage. at&t is also the largest company in the nation. The downfall to the i-phone is the features, the phone does next to nothing. id love to get ahold of the new blackbery.
