Why would you do that? You have the E105 and the E715 which are both comprable to this phone, though one has more and one has less. Additionally, you could buy the phone from Cingular (for more) and get it unlocked (I hear they do not lock thier phones now) and pop your SIM card in since T-Mo only opperates on the 1900 Band. You'd lose 850 and miss out on the 900 that comes with all T-Mo phones, ...

I'd expect it to come out sooner rather then later. Clearly the E316 has been tested and works on AT&T and if thats the case there is no reason why it won't be ready to go on Cingular since thye run networks that are so similar. I however am not a Cingular Rep so I cannot say anything with absolute certinty.

Its a VGA camera so it shouldn't be too bad. Additionally, if you go to the FCC website on this and check out the user manual I believe you can use the external color display as a viewfinder for self portraits...

Me, an AT&T customer, actually going to have a choice between three attractive, well (to extremely well) loaded flip phones (P716, E316, adn Moto V600)?!!
What a sweet day indeed, I've never felt the burden of conflict when it comes to chosing phones with AT&T before!! :lol:

Almost full now, even in the basement! And this in a place where two months ago I was lucky to make a full call while sitting next to my window! GOOD WORK AT&T!!! I was thinking of switching, but I couldn't be happier now! :D

Uhh, how about not? I was considering it, but then all of a sudden my coverage in Philly from AT&T gets a LOT better. read the article, my coverage doubled, and its a lot better now (I can vouch for it too)! And then soon we're going to combine with Cingular, which means our coverage area will just be the biggest, and the best (courtesy of the billions invested by AT&T, and by Cingular on improving thier networks). Screw that! Tmobile already gets plenty of cool Samsung phones. Look through, any samsung phone ending in 5 goes to t-mo, anything ending in a 6 goes to AT&T, and anythign ending in a 7 goes to Cingular!

This is really all I want from AT&T. I don't want bluetooth, don't plan on using a phone in another coutry (won't be buying the V600 till the bugs are fixed). All I want is a nice, small, LIGHT, camera flip phone with external display. BAM, Samsung delivers. As an AT&T customer, I am disappointed. AT&T's logo is a big part of the company, and as one user pointed out, VERY recognized. I think they should (in some way) acknowledge that this was and is partly AT&T wireless....Thats just me. Maybe ...

Horray for AT&T (and Cingular) customers :D ! FINALLY we're going to see better coverage, and a better selection of phones (I'm only assuming since they both have good phones as is). My only question, whats the new name going to be? Well, I'm curious as to some other details, but all in all this should be good for the customers :).

I am from Salt Lake and had AT&T WS for two years, now on my third year. I travel between Philadelphia and SLC every few months (school). I cannot recomend them enough. Thier GSM coverage gets better by the day, and the Nokia 6200 is an amazing phone, insanely powerful antenna. Cannot recomend AT&T enough. if the guy really worked for AT&T then he'd know thier network is very good, esp on TDMA (Analog, right?).
