Can you use a prepay phone on a post-pay account? For example, if I bought a prepay phone at Best Buy or Target, could I activate on my Family Share Plan (post-pay account)?

I'm confused. Was this supposed to be posted in the T-Mobile or AT&T forum? I have tried AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon over the past four months (in that order) and Verizon is by far the best with regard to call quality and coverage...Hands down.

If I have my Verizon Wireless number forwarded to another number (non Verizon Wireless) and a Verizon Wireless subscriber calls me while my number is forwarded, will this still be considered an "in network" call or will this be deducted plan "anytime minutes?"

Treo 700p or Blackberry 7130e?

I've had the Motorola Q for about a month and am ready to change due to the daily freeze-ups. I am looking at getting either the Treo 700p or the Blackberry 7130e. Any suggestions as to which one is better?

T-Mobile is great if you plan live the rest of your life within five miles of an interstate (since that's the only area that they have coverage).

Go with who has the best coverage. I just switched to Verizon and have nothing bad to say. I can make calls in so many more places now than I could with T-Mobile.

My contract with T-Mobile expires on Monday, November 29th and I am considering porting to Verizon Wireless. Good idea or not? Is the network expected to improve over the next 2 years (as I will be signing away to a 2 year deal)? Also, I have noticed that they have some really good holiday promotions on phones. Are these expected to last into next week?

I am considering switching from T-Mobile (family plan) to Verizon Wireless (family plan), but have a question: With regard to IN calling, does this apply in the Extended Network calling area. To my understanding, if your phone says "Roaming," that is the only time it does not apply. I assume that this is the same for Unlimited Nights and Weekends. Another question, is the network really that good or is it just a great advertising scheme?

It is nonexistent at the Canyon. You will be able to get service from Sedona, south into Phoenix (you will actually be on an AT&T Wireless tower at some points outside of Phoenix). Verizon and Cingular (TDMA) have service there (I think).

What does it mean when my phone says "Extended Network?" Will I be charged for using the phone when it displays this? Are Unlimited Nights and Weekends not applicable when on Extended Network?

do you think that if they remove the analog that they will still be able to claim "largest nationwide network" ? i am just curious where the direction of these companies is going...mergers, etc. ??

I am a business professional and just purchased the Samsung E105. It's a great little phone, but has the most annoying ringtones. Is there anywhere that I can download a normal ringtone for this phone, as it is almost embarassing to receive a phone call?
