With the refund? Guess the luck you sent me worked. VZW refunded my data (for the month of July) cost. It just showed up as a credit on my account. If you can prove the history, as in you call, and call, and call - as I did, maybe that's what needs to be done. It just blows that you need to create such a case.

Perhaps VZW should work on getting their existing 4G devices to work in existing 4G environments. Take a look at VZW's forums regarding connectivity issues. I know first hand their "fix" is to send you out a new SIM or a re-furb that will eventually have the same issue. I'm actually calling VZW today to get a refund on my previous 2 months data service. No scrolling issues here with my new Bionic - even performed your little test. It just makes me laugh when someone goes to the store, does their evaluation on a phone that possibly hundreds of people could have had their hands on. When the phone hiccups once they automatically assume it's a p.o.s.

Could it be? I've done a fair amount of reading on the web. From what I can see, this phone is be replaced even before its release. I'd much rather have a cancellation rather than end up with a turd for 2 years. wht do you think? Any bets??

Random Reboot?
Anyone have any issues with this phone re-booting by itself? I've had mine for about 2 weeks and it's done it about a half dozen times so far. My software is up to date according to the wireless software update on the phone.

I'm really starting to think the only thing VZW has going for them is the call quality/signal. It is crazy how they disable features like WI-FI & GPS on certain models to make more $$$. Now a $279 flip phone w/a camera? WTF?
