Re: ISIS not compatable in the NOTE II
Dec 23, 2012, 8:16 PM
in the Samsung Galaxy Note II (Verizon) forum

Purchased my Galaxy Note II on December 1st. I am in the Salt Lake City area. A few days later, I downloaded the ISIS app and tried to run it. Got an error that said I needed a different SIM card in the phone. Went back to the Verizon Wireless store where I purchased the phone, showed them what was happening and they promptly replaced the SIM card in my phone. ...

G'zOne PTT - Other Android phones to follow?

in the Article: Casio G'zOne Commando Update Adds Push-to-Talk forum

Apps like HeyTell and TiKL work nice on the Android (and iOS) phones but I miss the "real" PTT experience. Hope other Android and iOS products on VZW get "real" PTT too.

Re: VZW PTT phones - number of PTT Subs?

Hello VZW611LA, This would be for personal use. Have NE2 coming up in a few months and just want to see how the new PTT handsets compare to my Motorola Adventure V750. Whatever handset I get, it would be nice if it would play non Vcast videos. I cannot play videos from YouTube mobile but if I go the www.vuclip.com and select vuclip classic, I can search for YouTube videos and play them on the V750. The V750 ...

VZW PTT phones - number of PTT Subs?
Dec 15, 2009, 8:10 PM
in the Verizon forum

# of PTT Subs? About two dozen? Sorry to sound like a smart alec but I say that because of my experiences over the last few weeks. I have been to four Verizon Wireless stores in the Salt Lake City area and here is what I have found: Went to one store and asked to see the new Push-to-Talk phones. The employee that welcomed my wife and I to the store had to ask another employee what a Push-to-Talk phone was. After ...

PCD stands for "Personal Communications Devices". I could be wrong but I think this was once UTStarcom which was once Audiovox. The CDM-8975 looks a lot like the Verizon Wireless Coupe (CDM-8630VW). http://www.pcdphones.com/

Re: headset jack? music only comes through speakers and not headphones!

in the Motorola Adventure V750 forum

No problem here - music (mp3 files stored on micro SD card), Vcast video audio etc. come out of the earbuds and not the speaker when plugged into the headphone jack. I have the inexpensive earplugs from the V750 accessory page on the Verizon Wireless website.

You do not have to pay $15/month to transfer music to your V750. Just need to get the USB cable to connect your phone to your computer. I'm running Windows XP SP3 and Windows Media Player 11. When the phone is connected to your computer, you will see it show up as another device. I have an 8-gig micro SD card in my phone. Just "drag and drop" your ...

From the main screen, press the "message" key, then "settings", then option 7 (Voicemail#) and enter the *86, the "pause" and your 4-digit password. When I hold down the number 1 key from the main screen, my V750 will dial *86, pause, then dial my voicemail password just fine. Sounds like you have done just what I have done. Double check it and try again. Good luck.

Boatman - nice to meet you. Check out http://direct-connect.net for more PTT info. Maybe we can PTT each other in the future or chat on the radio. 73 de KA7EII.

I got the i-DIGI earbuds from the Verizon Wireless Website. When plugged into the headphone jack on the V750, you do get stereo sound from MP3 music stored on the optional micro SD card. Also noticed stereo sound while watching V-cast music videos and listening through the earbuds. The i-DIGI 'buds are not the best sounding but they are OK for the times that I want to listen to music on my V750.

Re: Bluetooth or wired stereo headset for use with the V750

Just answered my own question. Picked up a set of universal earphones at the Verizon store today. They are part number DIGCRVSHS35. They sound pretty decent. They will work just fine for me while listening to music stored on the phone and for watching Vcast videos without disturbing others around me. I can even answer calls while using them.

Yes you can set animated GIF images to both the inside and outside screens on the V750. I have The Little Mermaid swimming on my main screen and a little dog running on the outside screen. I just uploaded the images from my PC to my account on Verizon's VZWPIX website then sent a PIX message to my phone and saved the images on the phone. Using the "Settings & Tools" menu, select ...

Bluetooth or wired stereo headset for use with the V750
Aug 23, 2008, 6:53 PM
in the Motorola Adventure V750 forum

Anyone using bluetooth or wired stereo headphones or stereo earpieces with the Motorola Adventure V750? Although I just put an 8-gig memory chip in the phone and loaded up a few hundred songs, the phone is not going to replace my MP3 player. I would be using the headphones mostly while watching videos on Vcast and occasional use for listening to music. Thanks ahead of time for any feedback.

Ringtones on the Motorola Adventure V750
Aug 6, 2008, 7:43 PM
in the Motorola Adventure V750 forum

Any tricks to getting ringtones on the Motorola Adventure V750? I have tried sending tones to my phone using both an e-mail account and VZWPIX. I have tried .midi, .wav, .mp3 etc. My tones get stored in "My Sounds" and not "My Ringtones" in the Media Center on the phone. When entering or editing contacts, the tones in "My Sounds" are not available to be used as a ringtone. Thanks for any help.
