Is anyone else having trouble with Wi-Fi connections? My WiFi keeps turning off and on and disconnecting from my home WiFi.

MAINFRAME, read your review. Don't waste your time with the nexus. Other than that screen and ICS, its not worth it. I went back to my rezound after using the nexus for 4 weeks. I've never dropped so many calls or lost data connections so easily. I was happy with the rezound before the nexus dropped, now I'm even happier after using the nexus.

The razr is a over-hyped device. The camera is sub-standard, the software is glitchy and will require a mid-day charge. Thats your idea of a better phone? It has a cool form factor, fast processor and big screen, the rest is crap.

Re: Pentile Display?

I don't know why you guys knock the pentile display?? I happen to like it for several reasons, the biggest being that you see it easily in daylight. I've had several other high end vzw/sprint androind phones and have yet to find one that I can read outside as easy as this. Also, the colors aren't over-saturated like in other phones and are truer. My only gripe is that when zooming in on a photo ...

First go into settings and make sure swype is activated under keyboard settings, then go to any input field where you type and long press the text field. A menu will pop up, select input method and select swype. Hope it helps.

I also ordered this battery and after a week of usage I can tell the difference. I get 12-14 hours of moderate to heavy usage (100 txts, some email and lots of web). It does take a few days of discharge and recharging to get it up to snuff but well worth the money. The only other thing I did to extend my battery useage was to turn off the "always on mobile" under mobile network ...

when you're in messaging go to the "date" header of your message list and press the BB key. This will bring up a menu, scrool up and highlight/click "delete prior". This will promt "delete?" you can delete messages by date, saving messages for the current date. I usually delete messages in the a.m. from the previous day.

Re: Cases

I bought the clear 2 piece snap on case verizon offers when I first got my dare. I had to take it back because, as someone else stated, one corner kept coming unsecured. When I got my second clear snap on case the verizon employee told me there was a problem with the first "batch" of cases. I have had the second case for 2 months and have been able to take it off & put ...

Just found THE easiest way to download custom ringtones to ANY verizon phone. Myxertones.com. Create a profile , then search their site for what you want. The site will ask you to send the tone to your phone but when you try it will prompt you to download it to your computer. Save the tone to your computer, then send it as an email attachment to your phone (your full 10 digit phone number@vzwpix.com). ...

Re: SCREEN FREEZE

in the LG Dare VX-9700 forum

I had my screen freeze too. The only way I got it to unlock was to use the button on the side. The other "buttons" on screen were unresponsive for a few moments until I messed with it. It seems that the longer I left my phone in "sleep"/unused mode the more the screen would freeze up. Also when this occurred I would go to my settings and try to access the display settings, at ...

ringtones
Aug 3, 2008, 8:28 PM
in the LG Dare VX-9700 forum

I've read several questions about creating ringtones for my dare from music stored on my memory card but have had no luck doing so. One person stated that simply sending music via mms/pic message from your phone to itself and save it as a ringtone, BUT I can't seem to figure out how to select musci from my card & get it into a mms/pic message. I have been able to save a file from "my sounds" ...
