umm i work for sprint and its not unlimited 3G on phones, people just believe it is, but 5gb is more than u could ever use on a phone unless your tethering

i have worked for sprint for many years and also worked for att in the past and both are the same and im assuming that all the carriers do the samething, if your a new customer and use your own equipment you still sign a contract but can use your upgrade whenever you want. If you want to upgrade and use your upgrade to sign a contract you get the discounted price on the device but if you dont ...

umm really you dont have to sign a two year contract now and pay full price for the phone anyone can go into there provider and say i dont wanna sign a contract and just pay full price for a new phone and their be happy to assist you, no one forces you to sign. Unless your a new customer then thats when you dont have a choice...

holy crap dude where do you live? Have yet to meet someone that uses a full keyboard??? thats crazy, Ive used a full keyboard for like 5 or 6 years now and wouldnt buy a phone without it...

agreed people (the consumer) have no idea how much money the phone carriers lose in selling the phones at the prices they do, because ur in that contract but if contracts go away their gonna be forced to sells phones at the full retail price, hence no more discounts on phones...

i still dont see why this is a huge deal? the customer signs the contract saying they will pay the $200 if they cancel before the end of the contract. Its a binding legal contract that if THEY break they should have to pay and then when they do break it they bitch about having to pay for it???

thats not true i work for a sprint dealer and i give everyone the same service i would expect regardless to if im comissioned or not. I am comission but if that phones not gonna work for what u need it for ill sell u a phone thats best suited for ur needs. my god this is forum to discuss phones not belittle companys to provide service. its alittle crazy that people have nothing better to do than to sit on here and belittle themselves and talk about things they have little knowledge about. Honestly ive been in this business for awhile now and i tell it how it is, no service is gauranteed PERIOD. I dont care who you have service with, its never gonna be 100%.

Tmo has always been behind every carrier in bringing out quility phones and they say the G1 is suppose to be the greatest thing for T mobile this yr??? agreed i work for sprint and they only charge $10 for the feature if not already included on the plan (which most of them do), one down fall is that none of the family plans include the DC which is where the $10 feature would take its place.
but then again how could u beat $99 unlimited everything ive looked at everyones plans and no one comes close

i dont think that it is right for sprint to get sued over this, when you sign your contract you agree to the terms in the contract, if you read it or not, you intial right by where it states if you cancel early no matter when, you will receive a $200 ETF.
Just like what was stated earlier some stupid lawyer saw a chance to make some quick money and took it, his part of that $73 million ...

at&t as a corp will never unlock there phones for u UNLESS you are out of contract with the current phone, and doubt if they would ever unlock an iphone if they did it would be news to me

I'm not sure the iphone can be on a family plan i believe it needs to be on a plan of its own, as to the ones that were mentioned. although i could be wrong, you would have to check with a rep.
