ChaCha has been around for a LONG time and I assumed most carriers support it as myself (with Sprint) and my friends (TMobile) have used it for eh.... over a few years? I remember being at a concert and someone showing me, it's a ton of fun! Google vs. ChaCha is that ChaCha will answer ANY questions, whether its ridiculous or not. You can search "Jeffersons most famous quote" and a PERSON will find the answer for you vs. ...

The pro is understanding the features of uploading and hosting on a server. A MMS or photo from one phone to the next is simple... but it's SIMPLE. Photobucket allows you to make photos into gifts in one step and picture mail has editing software and stores them online for save=as options. It's safer and has more options. :?

I think overall this feature is great for tracking, but YES it can be turned off on the handset and also your child/spouse gets a text to their phone when being tracked. Ooopps, your caught!

"I've even heard people say" I love that. What a great point to an educated argument. I hear people say things all the time, and then I look up the answer if I want to argue it.

Again, this phone WAS upgraded. The home screen is Sprint's new custom home page and the colors are unique with all the same SANYO qualities.

I felt the same way with both this comment and response. I feel unsecure knowing someone could pick up my phone and literally know everything about my life and in some small key strokes change it majorly! However, to think doing the same thing at home over my computer is any safer is just niave.

YES - just like stated by Jared, this will utilize Sprint Navigation services which allows for "Turn by turn" directions just like a TOMTOM GPS system. It can find your position via satelite and help you find your destination and it can find you indoors as well. :) :o

The Treo 800w IS thinner than the previous Treo devices but has bigger buttons for the cardinal and qwerty keypad. It uses the CENTRO Battery (to give you a better idea)

It has the Infrared beam, it IS Micro USB so that you can get your accessories other places than Sprint. It also has some wicked new WiFi features!

I can tell you I've seen it, played with it and it pretty much does everything on the Sprint network short of the music store. It even supports Navigation.... but that is the word on the street 8)

WHY people choose Virgin Mobile
Jun 25, 2008, 6:31 PM
in the Article: Virgin Mobile USA Offers $80 Unlimited Calling Plan forum

The reason people choose Virgin Mobile is the fact it has no contracts and no deposits - As a Sprint Sales Rep we have lots of people come through the door that would LOVE for only 20$ more to benefit from the Simply Everything Plan, BUT They have a large deposit, bad credit, don't want to sign a contract..... Cricket, Virgin Mobile and the smaller market options are for these customers and unfortunately we as consumers CANNOT compare them ...

But again, due to their coverage area and restrictions to metro areas - its not a good comparison. :?

in the Article: T-Mobile Tackles Prorated ETFs forum

I know from working at Sprint that this was one of Dan Hesse's first changes and any contract signed after November 2007 can now be pro-rated on the termination fee. Is T-mobile the last or the second to jump on this bandwagon?

Good for you - T-mobile screwed me 3 years ago and I still owe them 327.81 for a line that was 11 days short of its contract.

in the Article: Sprint's Instinct to Cost $129 forum

eekkkkk, not a "Smart Phone" Or PDA. You can't sync your calendar and though it has some killer sync features and consumer/work email.... its not a PDA. It's more for all the other fun stuff.

Re: That review is crap...
Jun 21, 2008, 10:16 AM
in the Article: Sprint's Instinct to Cost $129 forum

I think ultimately it comes down to what you use and how much you want to pay to use it. Yes - the IPhone has a great browser and was one of the first of its kind. Its in our nature to take what has succeeded and to make it better.... The Instinct has many of the SAME features yes, but a better platform for higher speed. The Navigation is lots better and is turn by turn directions. They ...

Jun 21, 2008, 10:00 AM
in the Article: Sprint's Instinct to Cost $129 forum

Well, I've had the chance to play with both phones and SELL the Instinct. After like 4 hours of training on the M800 I can say.... its going to compete well with the iphone. I worked on the pre-launch day for early registers and we had a line around the corner. On the 20th, the line was already starting at 8:30am and almost all my customers were PORT INS from previous iPhone experiences that wanted better data, a cheaper ...

They still need to work on the coverage area. It's a great plan to have for someone who is limited to their metro area but for the average consumer - its really not comparing apples to apples at all. :?
