Word on the street saith that the next software update for October will remove tethering, and all future TM506s after that will have the non-tethering software.

It requireth the WCDMA IV 1700/2100 band UMTS, which only worketh in the US (and only with T-Mobile here) at the moment. So sorry, no Europe or Japan.

Most likely, none. It doth not use the AWS 3G band of T-Mobile, and AT&T doth not carry stylish, but generic sliders. It would compete too muchel with the Walkman W760, which is similar.

One can get it with either the T-Zones ($5) or the Total Internet ($20, which is added after the device hath been activated). For now it tethers with either Bluetooth or a (not included) USB cable; and is only allowed with the Total Internet package. It doth take a little bit of setup, which can be found in forums dedicated to the device. However, there are rumors that T-Mobile wanteth to disable tethering in a future software update. So ...

Just be careful if one wanteth to tether to a computer or laptop for that it is rumored that tethering will be removed in a future software update.

You can either get Yahoo! Plus (which is $20/yr), which allows thee to use the K550i's built-in POP email reader, use the web based m.yahoo.com/mail in the K550i's web browser, or install Yahoo! Go (http://mobile.yahoo.com/go) as a java application.

Ich have T-Mobile USA eke. Both the internet and picture messaging work fine. To really use the internet, get the Total Internet add-on. Allows tethering to the computer (and with Linux) and with unlimited data. Right now, it is about $20/moneth.
