Is there such a thing as that? I mean, when you are asking for a personal review of a phone, that's essentially asking for someone's opinion. Someone's opinion is not going to dis way me getting an Samsung Instinct, but I will wait a little longer to get one. Maybe after some minor issues are fixed; I know there will be some, given Samsungs horrible track record with releasing buggy phones ( personal experience).

Is it possible to accept that maybe, just mayybe, this phone did not live up to everyones review expectations? I guess it is possible that they got a lemon to review, but if everyone feels so strongly against the review, ignore it and go get your Instinct when it's released.
Your experience with the phone will not be the same as Phonescoop's, this just very well maybe your dream phone. Why bash the review, a better question would be: ...

Correct me if I am wrong, but, are firmware and revision(updates) are up to the manufacturer, not the carrier. Feel free to correct me.

I know a manager at Sprint who has had this phone for about 2 months now; I don't know if it's a "final product" or not, but it peaked my curiosity enough to want one at release. I usually don't care for reviews and rely on my own self judgment to determine if I purchase a device, but, personally I am going to wait a bit on this device.
