you can actually sync it with your Windows media player! connect the usb cord to your computer once you've compiled a sync list. (you won't be able to receive calls here) Put your phone in music transfer mode, and it will connect to your WMP so you can sync and convert, if necessary

yes you can, however you must do each contact separately. There are 2 ways to do it:
*Find the ringtone in your phone, click options, assign, and assign to one contact. Do this for all people it applies to.
*Edit contact, edit default ringer

it uses the 2.5 mm plug that most cell phones use. No special adapter needed. If it's not fitting right, I suggest taking it back to the store to be exchanged, or at least checked out.

I agree, WiFi would be neat, for teathering, but it's in no way necessary. You get the internet practically anywhere you get phone service.
Also, if you really need internet for your laptop (which is the only reason I can think of that you might need WiFi) you can pay $15 to teather it, or get an aircard.

The GPS is fast and flawless! You simply hit the GPS button, then your address you want to go to for directions and a few seconds later it's giving you your first spoken directions, then it automatically checks for traffic reports. NICE!
The only thing I don't like is the search for local restaurants and businesses; it doesn't list all of them, only a few. Why can't they just use the phone book in conjunction... or something.

Addressing complaints for not place for stylus
i have read several complaints from people who say there's no place to put the stylus in the phone. That is true, but do you know about the leather cover that came in the box? It has a little stylus holder. Normally, I don't like cases but I can't imagine just dropping this phone in my purse unprotected. Not only that, but the cover, which is similar to the Upstage, simply flips open and shut, without the fuss.

It's scheduled to be released for sprint this year, along with the Diamond.
I thought that the writer of this article errored in comparing the Pro to the Diamond. They should've compared it to the phone it's replacing: The HTC Mogul. The Pro is a much slicker version, and I'm glad to see it!

Well, perhaps someone breaks thier Nextel phone, and they aren't eligable for a discount on a new one yet. They usually have to go to Ebay or buy one outright. Instead, could they buy this chip, pick up a Boost mobile prepaid phone and make it work on Nextel, since they are the same network?

2) The Rumor is not fit for video, therefore you can't watch Utube videos or any other videos.
3) This is not a power vision phone, so you will only have the regular vision, which is much slower.
4) There is a program you can download called Opera Mini 4.0, however it has not been developed for the Rumor and probably won't be available.
If viewing a full website, seeing Utube videos and slow internet are a problem, you had better ...
