"A thousand square miles" means the radius of the range of the tower would need to be at least 17.84 miles??????
Even the current 4G towers don't reach that far. And we have been told that the range of 5G compared to the current 4G towers will be much less that would mean more 5G towers to cover ...

I agree totally. I have an account with Verizon with 8 lines. We average 20-22 GB per month totally. Granted we try to limit our use away from Wi-Fi. I find it difficult to see how one line can exceed 200 GB per month, month after month after month.
I wonder if these unlimited lines are making money by selling data via hotspots to other individuals or maybe running a whole house full of gadgets from ...

I remember reading something about 1-2 months ago about how although ATT and Verizon may own the most bandwidth, they have the least amount of bandwidth per customer when compared to T-Mobile and Sprint.

Huummm,
Well you could buy and carry a prepaid Verizon feature phone when you have no coverage. Prepaid minutes are good for 90 days after purchase.

I believe they said 4G was down, but 3G was doing fine. So one could still get data at 3G speeds.
I do not see the problem when I would guess 85% of Verizon customers can not get 4G at all 24/7 since they still have only 3G phones and only 10-15% have upgraded to 4G phones or 4G modems??????

Let us know if your new phone works after it arrives. If you have linked your contacts thru Gmail then at least you do not need to reenter them all manually again.
I had one of my prev dumbphones die on me and I had to look at my wife's phone and type them all in again since synching a dead phone with a new phone was not possible. :D

I believe it was an honest mistake or faulty cut and paste that you forgot to name those cities below New York on the alphabet list (A- NY, but no cities in states like NC or SC for example when there are several in just these two states or what about those several 4G cities in Tenn)?

My brother got the HTC Thunderbolt right after it came out and he found an application that turns off the 4G radio since he rarely needs it so that the battery life is much better with only 3G turned on.
I am also waiting for something new to come out since my original Moto Droid (12/2009) is now trying to give up the ghost.

I forgot to mention that I am thinking of getting a 4G phone to replace my dying Moto Droid, but I really like the bluetooth feature that my 2004 Acura TL has. In fact I got this car 1 yr before I got a phone with BT and used the BT feature every day since.

If the sale of T-Mobile fall thru, AT&T could use Verizon's LTE in the remaining 20% of the country not covered by its LTE customers.
