Got an older LG flip phone that i also use in the car as my music player (headphone jack plugged into AUX input on car stereo) The phone has external music player control buttons, so no need to take my eyes off the road to change songs or pause.

mp3 causes phone to shutdown/restart
LG vx8350 - use it as an mp3 player in my car all the time. After adding some new music, during playback it started shutting down/restarting for no reason. After a few frustrating days, I discovered the player would hit a particular song -- that would trigger the shutdown/restart. Removed the song from my SD card. No more problems.
Can anyone explain to me HOW an mp3 file can cause this behavior?

Does this phone have a feature or setting where it will repeatedly beep or blink a light when there is a voicemail waiting?
I know there is an icon that appears on the screen, and the phone does BEEP when the voicemail first arrives. But I'm looking for a repeating audible alert that goes off every minute or two (?), so you don't have to pick up the phone and look at ...
can you turn off the wallpaper / animations?
Howdy,
I just got this phone, used. Its a big improvement from what I had, but the wallpaper/animations etc are kind of fruity. Too colorful and cartoony, like its aimed at teenage girls. Any way to turn these visuals off, or just have no wallpaper at all?
