it is available, you have to go directly to Blackberry's website. Alltel will not have it available through us supposed to be on Oct 27th. I know people who have already done this update and it seems to be working fine for them.

Unfortunately you can't avoid the act. fee and yes you can change your features, but they won't take effect until the next day after the change.

I had 2 of those yesterday, same scenario. First one was an elderly woman who I had patience for just given the circumstances. The second was a woman who always comes in with crazy problems that she should know better (she's only a little older than me) 8O

Perfectly understandably in your circumstances. I deal with nasty people on a weekly basis (I would be exaggerating if I said daily like some people on here in these forums) and truthfully you weren't that bad.

I understand this and I already knew T-Mobile is taking over in the transition. My question to you then since obviously I have no business in my own industry is if SunCom will no longer exist as of September, why then are they building a lot of stores directly across the street from my company and why then does the sign on the lot say coming soon "SunCom" (ready to open August 4th).

I work for another provider and am just about at my wits end. Everyday the rules get changed or it's something that apparently existed in the first place that no one was aware of. I work as an indirect agent right now and our store is so slow I am the only one under employ making my days very long and very boring. Alltel wanted to sign a contract with each of the guys committing them to apparantly only doing Alltel commercials. Well, the Sprint guy has high hopes of making it on the big screen so he walked when he was asked to go into contract. Hope this eases you. :D

Ahhh! The moment of truth. I just so happened to have a prepaid customer walk in to replenish her minutes and I asked if I can see her phone. Despite the fact that it was in her car, I explained to her what is going on in the forum and she happily went and grabbed it. After about 5 minutes of both her and I searching I can tell you, "there is no such thing as a prepaid button." ...

I have never heard of such a button on the prepaid phones and I sell Alltel prepaid phones every day for customers who don't qualify for service or have to place a high deposit.

I agree you should go to any corporate location and have the phone flashed which will update and correct the corrupted software issue in your phone.
