so? if all me phone numbers were portable then i could switch now. but since i had one number that was not portable i cant move any lines over? that is kinda missed up dont you think.

still they did take care of there customers unlike the ones that are so big they could care less about anyone

At its peak, Alltel operated a network in 34 states, with a wireless coverage area comprising the largest network in the United States by area. that seems pretty big! but they do have great customer service and car

i know you cant port them all that is why they said to get a new number and then move all my lines! then they said i needed a deposit and lost my number

No like i said before i am not trying to add lines just move the ones we have now! this is a church account which means we don't have a lot of credit but the credit we do have is good! my point is: i was told i could move over now, so we want to do that dropping one number that would not port then they said we need a deposit and we could not get the lost ...

look I am not trying to add 20 lines of new service. just tying to switch over the lines i already have! geezz is that to much for verizon to handle? i would think they would be greatful that i was going to stay with them.

If i was trying to add new lines i could understand a credit check and deposit. but the just move my lines that i have already, ans still be ask for a deposit makes no sense! as for the number we lost: two lines happened to be an area code that was not supported by verizon yet! so i was told i could change it to an area code for that line that verizon was supporting so they dropped that ...

No! we have good credit, With alltel we our an "A" rating. so why should a deposit be needed when even if we had a "crappy" rating we are still going to be verizon? SO is verizon going to run a new credit check on all alltel customers? even thought they own them already. but i guess that is alltel fault right?

See that is what i am talking about. i never ask verizon to buy alltel. but they did and the customers with it. all i want to do is switch over now, but i am not a good enough customer to switch, i have been with alltel for 7 years with a grade 'A' credit. Now they want my first born and 400 bucks per line? whatever they will own me in a month or two anyway, but you ...

I am not even with verizon yet( alltel now) but so far i have seen a big daddy attitude. they seem to have got so big that we are treated like a step child. so before i get treated the a dog anymore. i am thinking at&t, sprint, or even t-mobil someone that cares that i have a business with 10 lines. So far there customer support really sucks and yes i can (hear you now),but i don't like ...

hey cparistheman do you work for alltel? you must because that is the same stupid reply i would get from them. they could at least be honest. yes i got the phone anyway. it is a good phone and would be a great phone with MMS. Thought they knew what they were talking about. i will not make that mistake again, but they got there commission. So do me a favor! crawl back ...

Could you please define 'soon'. is that 7 months, 12 months, three weeks. The problem is that they should not have sold the phone when they knew it was not capable of doing what was wanted by the customers. On the other hand i should have never bought it on a "soon" statement

hello i agree with silva. i was told the same thing. i never wanted a phone that could not do MMS. but i was issued they would have it in the month, this was 7 months or more, ago. now that i have want over my 14 days it is mine like it or not. well at least they got a sale. SEE we would not need so many anger classes, if you could get someone to tell ...

ok I need to get a new phone. Need some input in which one. I was thinking the glimmer or 8310 blackberry what do you think? I like the idea of MMS but the blackberry dosen't do that. what are the differences?

i think you can pre-order at alltel website and they say they will be in stores Feb. 14 th. :D
