I agree. It is going to be a headache. Then imagine all the "I've been a loyal customer for xyz years and Verizon screwed me to upgrade now when they clearly knew I wanted an iphone. I want to return my phones and get the new iphone. Waive the restocking fee, after all, I am going to be spending more money with you every month so see, Verizon is winning. Sigh.....lol

You must have missed the memo about sprint's tiered data pricing coming for the galaxy s tab. I know you're a Sprint fan boy so I just wanted to point out that your god-like carrier is doing the same thing. I'm willing to bet they will change too.

That's right menno. And Azeron is being dumb because my boss was sitting next to me while I was reading this post. Oh yeah. My boss and I get along fine. And Azeron, Mr Mensa, I am anything but a Butthead. I smoke and my son calls me that, so stop acting like you actually have a cluepon. What Joppa did is a serious ethics violation. Period. Plenty of VZW employees read this site.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of people out there who would like to believe they know what they are talking about and have no clue and pass along bad information. Of course they could look it up, but that would mean they actually have to work for their pay checks. If people bother you that badly, sounds like a career change is in order.

6.0 is not yet released for the Bold. Any Blackberry with 512 mb of ram can be upgraded to 6.0. Any device without 512 mb of ram (e.g., Storm 2) will not be upgradable to 6.0. And this is right from RIM and I go to special vendor trainings all the time. Hope this helps.

Store reps aside, how many people work for outsourcers? You know, customer care that is not a Sprint, Verizon, or ATT employee. I have a feeling there are quite a few. So...let us know!

Store and over the phone are the same. Depending on your price plan, you NE2 is going to be $100 or $50. The new credits are between $30 and $50 dollars. You will get the best pricing online. Store and over the phone will get you a mail in rebate. If you order online, it is an instant online discount. So, if you have a NE2 of $100 and place the order online, your out of pocket expense will be $99 ...

I went from blackberry to the Eris to test the Android waters. I was tempted by the incredible because I love sense. When I saw the droid x, I knew I had to have it. I got to use the Droid 2 prior to release and it benchmarked slower than the Droid X in quadrant. I tested a colleagues incredible the other day on froyo and it doubled the benchmark to over 1,000. Sure you can. I don't feel scarred (then again, I never worked for an outsource group so the experience may be different). Still doing it too. I suppose I'm from a generation that didn't whine and complain about everything. People today are so pampered. We would have gotten owned in WW2 with the current generation.

It happens. Ordered mine at 7:00am. got shipping tracking info. It's hard to guess demand. But, Incredible shipping dates have dropped and Droid X orders will be filled by 07/23/2010. So.......you either failed to plan and got your order in too late or you're just trolling. Probably just trolling cause you would have complained more if you were actually interested in ordering it.

Most complaints about store reps that I have heard largely stem from them showing no interest in dealing with a customer unless there is a new activation or upgrade or other sales related item involved. I disagree with your numbers. Its more like 50%. But hey, leave the store and go work in care to see how the customers really feel. Bit hey, have a nice day!

If it is only posted on this site (and only in the forums), how you can you work to get your message out there and to spread the message? Seems to me like you have not though out your strategy for getting the message out and getting a change in your working conditions. I personally do not think a union is needed at the company where I work, but I am a corporate employee and treated very well.

Why is it that Sprint's 4th quarter results are absent as news on the main page? This also happened on the 3rd quarter results as well. However, there does not seem to be any problem with posting other carrier results. Is all that Sprint advertising revenue creating a bias in negative reporting?

Android is a nice platform. I do prefer my eris to the iPhone. My question for you is, what information do you have that the iPhone is never coming in one form or another? A little premature in giving up? Not saying its tomorrow but you may want to wait a little bit before throwing in the towel.

Not only would be this post be better off in the lounge, I am going to take a stab in the dark that you work for pocket wireless and your whole to be statement is a rumination as to whether or not pocket is going to put up more then 5 cell towers in the 2 states they serve.

Don't worry, indirects screw up plenty of accounts that need to be fixed at the care level. Everyone makes mistakes. If you get this bent out of shape over a mistake, then maybe you should not interact with the public in any capacity at all.

Verizon is a very well run company. They are a for profit business, not a welfare provider. There are plenty of expenses that go toward running the business that you have not taken into consideration such as network upgrades, personnel for tech, customer care, back end systems to run the business. I mean seriously, there is no fuzzy math here, only a lack of business acumen.

Sigh, here we go again. time to break out the gerbers for some people. And I also work in a call center too. Apparently my benefits and pay are alot better than yours so I don't feel compelled to whine that someone actually inconvenienced me by guess what, expecting me to do my job. I'll think of you when I climb into my bmw for the ride to work tomorrow.
