Mine is fine... The connection indicator in the PC tray says it's 57.6 but that's by default. If you go to dslreports.com you can run a speed test to see how fast your connection really is. Remember, the more bars the faster speed you'll get. I've gotten up to 176kbps (downstream) from my cell phone. I think the most you can get is 56k upstream, so that may have something to do with it.

Sure.. I had to buy PDANet and it works like a charm. I couldn't get it to work natively on Cingular's network either. They crippled the bluetooth. You can get PDANet from www.junefabrics.com
