I upgraded from the Pixel 3 to the Pixel 5, and the Pixel 5 far exceeded my expectations. The Pixel 5 is all around faster: -The fingerprint sensor is instantaneous. -Everything processes faster (remember, it has 8gb of RAM) -The sound, albeit a different setup from the Pixel 3, is still clear, loud, and of good quality. -Photos are quick to process, though Night Sight and HDR photos naturally take longer, which is true for the Pixel 3 as well. -Screen is absolutely ...

I stopped reading at Galaxy, b/c their phones are filled with bloatware and unnecessary features, creating a very cluttered experience.

I have the SD 617 in my HTC One A9 and there are no performance issues whatsoever.....and I say that coming from a phone w/ a SD 810 prior.

The camera also has the 0.03 second focus 2700mAh battery (vs. 2600mAh for the Z3C) Fingerprint Scanner 1 less port flap plus the upgrades you mentioned.... Sounds pretty good to me. Not to mention, most reviews of the Z3C were nothing short of amazing.

Any rumblings of the Z4 comign to Sprint?

Lots of rumors last year, but nothing came to fruition. Hopefully this year...and I agree, a Z4c would be nice.

any rumblings on the Z4 or Z4C at MWC?

The Sony Z4 series is expected to and the Z3 is plenty loud. Personally, I'd give up BoomSound volume for a smaller phone.

Same design as the M7 and M8. Still has too much space taken up by the bottom bezel and the speakers. The leaked render where the speakers were minimized and the front facing camera was moved to the center was the way to go. I guess its just not possible to fit everything into a more compact footprint. Sony has figured it out, why not HTC?

Just produce a great phone with an excellent standard camera (no more ultrapixel or duo camera crap), thin down your bezels and make your phones smaller, keeping the BoomSound and superb build quality! Just my 2 cents after owning every high end HTC phone since the Hero.

curious to know the benchmark scores....
