Were they on you memory card? If so, check to make sure they are still on there using your PC. If they are, try removing you card from your phone and putting it back in.

Uhh...they already did. They released it before they released Storm2. But if you mean OTA, I don't think they did/will. You have to install with DM.

Did you do a battery pull after you removed the link? If that doesn't work, try removing the pin from the contact, that way there is no way that the BB can link the two. It will be forced to consider the two as different contacts. From what I've read, I think we are SOL (unless we remove the link and pin). I think that's the way it works...for now. Just a quick question ...

From what I understand, Verizon isn't pushing this OTA. You can only get it through Desktop Manager or Blackberry.com

So, you never got it to download any modules? Mine downloaded about half and seemed to get stuck, but patients payed off. It finally got to the end and installed. Be ready though! I ended up having to reinstall AppWorld and BBM. I had to try 3 different times to get BBM back on. I finally had to install of the BlackBerry browser.

I found the resolution. You have to change the keyboard layout to qwerty, then do a battery pull. After the battery pull, change the keyboard layout back to automatic.

So I finally install .167. I noticed that the dial pad is weird. The letters associated with the numbers are all mixed up, i.e. the number 2 has TY instead of ABC. Anybody know what's up?

Well if price is an issue, stick with Storm 1, but if your a phone freak like the rest of us here, wait for the Storm 2. They are esentially the same phone. The Storm 2 will have a few upgrades, but Storm 1 should be able to run OS5.0 just like Storm 2 when it is realesed. I myself will be waiting for the new year to see what happens to LTE and the iphone. ...

I use SlingBox to watch live TV. The SlingPlayer Mobile is not optimized for the storm yet, but it works just fine for now.

Hmm...I have weatherbug, and now I'm considering removing it because you said that it improved you battery life. I really hadn't had any problems with it, but maybe I just got used to my battery life.

I guess I might have become a crackberry fanboy a little, but believe me if the iPhone LTE comes to Verizon I'm gonna take a hard look at it. I really can't imagine downgrading to a "dumb phone" from a Blackberry. For me, the Storm has been a good phone.

It depends. If you didn't like it because it was buggy and slow, then you will love it now. If you didn't like it because of the touchscreen, you probably won't change your mind. I've had it since day one, and although it was buggy and slow, I never hated it. I like it more and more as more cool apps come out.

I don't think that you can do that in the stock theme. You can get just about anything in 3rd party themes though.

I remember seeing a pic of one that had an optical mouse. If that new pic is the ONE, then I won't feel too bad with my 1st gen Storm for one more year. It looks really similar.
