my husband and i both have this phone and neither of them close like that. they close perfectly fine. they don't spring open like yours does. i would return/exchange for a phone that isn't defective. hope this helps!
Transferring songs from 'My Sounds' to 'My Music'
I transferred a few songs from my mac to my env touch via bluetooth today and it automatically put them into 'My Sounds' folder. Does anyone know how to transfer them from the 'My Sounds' folder to the 'My Music' folder?

i ordered a plastic clip on case for my phone from ebay. it works great and doesn't affect the hinge at all. i'm not sure about the cases from verizon. but the cases off of ebay are nice.

Hi Rachel! The buttons are bigger than the first alias, and I have no problem using them, they are easy if you ask me. As for the control buttons, they are actually on the right hand side when you open the phone in QWERT. With the Eink technology on the phone, it switches the control from the left (or top if opened the regular way) to the right side.

hello! my phone moves slightly as well. i think it is just due to the phone having a hinge on one side. i've had my phone for a few months now and haven't had any problems.

yes, the alias can learn new words. you just have to enter it into abc mode.

hello, thanks for the pointer, but i'm actually talking about entering text that t9word doesn't usually recognize as words such as "haha, hunny, hehe, sucky, yummy, etc" Usually a phone will allow you to type the word in while you're in abc mode and then it will recognize it as a word in t9. ok, thanks for the help though.

I use the outside of the phone for texting sometimes, but for some reason T9 word won't learn new words... I've tried to teach it things like 'haha' but it just won't do it.

Has anyone found a clip/snap-on case for the alias 2 yet? I know they have the leather pouches but I'm hoping they come out with a case that just clips or snaps on. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :)

so when i looked at my phone today i noticed a calendar icon on the top of my main screen. i had no idea why it was there so i clicked it and it took me right to the calendar. the weird thing is i never set my phone to do that or created any events for it to be reminding me of AND i can't figure out how to get it off of there.

that seems like quite a bit of usage. I think any phone would be almost dead after that. you have to consider that 30 minutes of web browsing and 20 minutes of tv watching takes a lot of battery. not to mention adding lots of text messaging and some talking on the phone. I think mine would probably be dead as well. not sure tho, hope that helped..a little :)

yup, i figured it out. i actually transfered the movie onto my phone through bluetooth. it worked well.
do you know how to transfer music from bluetooth onto the disk and then put it into my music on the voyager?

thank you!! one more question...where do you find the my flix folder? is it in the removable memory file in the phone? i've looked for the flix folder and can't seem to find it. grr! i used pqdvd, i originally bought it to put movies on my ipod. so i just used that. it was 30 dollars or so...anyway, talk to you soon. thanks!

hello! i'm sorry i can't help you with what file to choose because I already had my movies converted with another program...but i do have a question that maybe you could answer. Once you've clicked and dragged the movie file into the removable storage file on the phone, how do you access the movie on the voyager...do you know?

umm...have you considered that you have a defective phone? my battery life lasts just fine and my mp3 player works really well. if you're so disappointed in the product maybe you should take it in and either have it looked at or return it...just a thought.
EXTERNAL SCREEN browser question
so...this might be a dumb question but if i'm on my browser on the voyager and i'm using the external screen...is there a way to type in a username/search box, etc on the external screen or do i have to open up and use the qwerty keyboard?

that's not what i mean...i know that the camera takes a few seconds to autofocus and then takes the picture... my problem is whenever i push the save picture button, if i don't hold it totally still, then it turns blurry...you can't tell it's blurry until you look at it in the photo library... i'm not sure if anyone else is having that problem...

touch screen
I've had my phone over a week now and the touchscreen is already losing its sensitivity...is anyone else having this problem? i really like this phone, but i won't if the touchscreen dies this quickly!
handstrap for voyager?!
Does anyone know if the voyager has a loop to put a handstrap on it??? I am so used to having one for my phone...it drives me crazy that i can't get one on the voyager!!! arrrrgh! =) 8O
