Price TBA but most likely around $349 AWS means the band of frecuency, and this in plain english menas it will works in all metro pcs markets. This new BB 8530 will be better than 8330. Therefore value won't be much less if any. PS: remember old 8330 works only in legacy markets.

They are saying by the end of the year when they plan to roll out LTE network. However, I wouldn't count on it just yet. Remember this is a new technology, so I would say the best optimistic shot is for first quarter of 2011.

the bb 8330 was not offered to the NY market because of recuency bands incompatibility. The 8330 works only on Metro's legacy markets like Fl, TX, etc which operate on the PCS frecuency. Newer markets like NY or Las Vegas operate on a different frecuency band known as AWS. Eventough is not officially confirmed yet it is rumored in several forums that Metro will update to the newer Curve 8530 and supposly it will be compatible with the AWS band. I guess time ...

just go to metro's website at www.metropcs.com and you will find the metro's blackberry. Is the same model as the boos berry, the bb 8330. However, rumor has it the newest curve 8530 will hit metro later this summer, so you might want to wait.

more reliable sources say it would be later 3rd quarter or upto 4th quarter. rumor has it will be the latest curve 8530

I think the new Blackberry coming down to Metro PCs this summer "most likely" would be the new curve 8530. Metro has a long history of not bringing the latest models. Also in reference to the boost berry I heard, but not sure, that their web is faster becuase they are conected to Sprints network. What I do know as a fact is that they offer a bigger footprint coverage. On the other hand Metro might have some feature you could ...

when will more aggressive plans come out ?

I was wondering. Now that some regional carriers offer unlimited calling plans and the big carriers like, AT&T, Verizon, Tmobile & Sprint have a unlimited plan too; I think next step into the getting and keeping customers would be presenting more aggressive plans. Yes is true a $ 99.99 unlimited calling plan is better that getting a $300 bill or even more but that does not include messaging, email, web browsing, etc meaning if you want to take full advantage ...

hahahah, very funny response!!!! Well I really doubt it metro most metro pcs users are happy with what they have. I know for sure most subcribers get metro just because the price of flat rate aprox $45 plus tax. I have not made any survey but I know several people wanting better phones, they just dont switch because they dont want to be attached to a 2 year contract. However, other carriers are joining the game, they already offer a flat rate, at ...

It is not compatible with nextel users. Is only avaliable for metro pcs users, which is not really a great feature since is a new service and depends on who has it activated on this k312p phone. By no chance this will bring more customers to metro.

I have been hearing for the last couple of month metro will come out with new phones soon but the waiting time seems not to end. I think is already time for new phone. Metro's suscribers earned it. By the way Metro pcs should consider the idea of bringing real phones to their portfolio, meaning latest technolgy with advance feature phones. Some people say they haven't done it because prices would be to high eventoug I still think there is a ...
