Poor phone lock system
I love my W580i! It is such an improvement over my old V3m Razr, but it is certainly not without it's flaws. One in particular is not something I can tollerate much longer.

I've had my phone for about a month now. I take pretty good care of my electronic devices, but I don't treat them like glass either. Although none of my buttons have cracked, the slide mechanism seems to be a little looser ( a little too loose and is worrying me) and one corner is peeling.

Got my 4gig M2 card in the mail a few days ago and filled it right up with no problems at all. The phone reads the full 4 gigs.

I agree that AT&T will most likely grandfather in Cellular One contracts. I work for a third party Cell One distributor and have no fear of talking to anyone and everyone in the business, no matter how much more money they make than I do, and all of them agree that although there is no final word on the subject, chances are that AT&T will allow Cellular One customers to ride out the rest of their contracts. For the most part a SIM card is a SIM card. The thing you have to know is if the 580 you purchase is locked to a provider or not. You have to purchase an unlocked phone in order to use it under whatever provider you want.

any luck with this? I just order the San-Disk 4GB card online. I had been planning on getting the 2 gig, but I found a good deal on the 4 only a few dollars more so I ordered it, I guess I should have looked up how much the phone supported first.
