Nope. Never owned an Apple. Samsung, HTC and LG are only brands I have owned. I did get an iPod for my daughter once so I guess I am a fanboy. It is called personal preference. I don't need an e-reader on the back to check weather and news. I do that on the color screen. I remember when screens used to be just black and white then this new fangled invention ...

OK. Define successful? Selling maybe a few hundred phones? I don't think that is successful. More power to them if they can do something others were not able to and make a niche for themselves. BTW this is not the first dual screen phone. Samsung made a couple of dual screen phones a while ago. So this is not something new and not very useful.

Who is complaining? Who is hostile? I was simply posting my opinion that it is a doomed to fail idea. It may be a great idea, but I don't see the market. Also a Yotaphone? Seems like they could have come up with much better name. Also how is it popular with the intended market when they only are selling 500 of them!!! In fact I mentioned in my first post I was not ...

If I were to read on my phone I use the screen that is better!! If I have that nice phone why would I want to switch to another screen? Which is why this idea makes no sense to me. Seems like the more inventive idea would be to come up with a better battery life for the better screen. or better yet had a way to turn the power consumption down on the regular ...

All I can say is HAHAHAHEHEHEHOHOHO. Yotaphone? Indiegogo? 100 units. Who in their right mind thinks this will be successful? One screen with e-ink? Not bashing or trying to be negative and I wish them the best, but some ideas just have failure written all over them. This one is just doomed from the start. Could not stop laughing reading this article. Of course this is just one man's opinion and what do ...

Except I would not classify a wireless service provider as an ISP. They are voice providers that offer data as an extra. They not really ISP's like a Comcast. So really this would not help with throttling on a cell phone user. If this does apply to wireless carriers then this would open a whole can of worms that I don't think Obama can win. What people fail to realize is that this may ...

I don't disagree with you. You don't know what you are talking about. Disagreeing would be if you had a different opinion. You know the old saying "it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you are a fool then open it and remove all doubt." You just removed all doubt.

Anybody who uses the term "bloatware" is a BGR tool. The pre-loads the handset manufacturers load are typically just basic stub apps and the full app does not get downloaded until the users opens the app for the first time. So the "bloat" is generally just a few KB of space. Which is hardly bloatware. So next time why don't you actually look at what you are talking about prior to opening your mouth and ...

Maybe it is because your title states "how Samsung copied Apple" but your comments are "how Samsung did NOT copy Apple". That makes you a fanboy. And your last comment just makes you plain ignorant. SD Card support in Android is a joke period. Why they don't include 32GB of internal memory is beyond me. Samsung did include 32GB in the GS3 and everybody bought the 16GB version as they wanted to use and SD card. BTW you ...

Because it is my opinion and opinions are not nonsense. I don't need that much space because I don't have that many apps and in fact I know of no one else that does use all of a 64GB card nor a 32GB card. Do you think 16GB extra is going to help you??? 16GB is minor amount and if you are someone that uses a lot of apps would not make much difference. ...

When you can buy a 32GB SD card for 19.99 why do you need a 32GB version? It is useless. I have 32GB device now and don't use most of it as I have SD card. Nice part about Samsung phones as you can always use SD card slot. :)

First of all what BB really said was we know TMO is getting rid of us so we will preempt them to save face and make it look like we are getting rid of them. But what Mr. Chen is really saying is TMO is putting a damper on Mr. Chen's ability to pump and dump his BB shares. ...

First of all I would say that MPM is a BETTER material than a metal phone. There is a reason and that is because metal blocks radio signals more than MDM!!! Also once upon a time people said they would not buy a car with fiberglass bumpers. Um. Now you can't buy with out and it is proven just a safe and reliable. Metal rusts, metal, dents, metal blocks RF. Plastic does not. Plastic is ...

It is called a rhetorical question. Point is he could have done something more than just say it looks flimsy. That is not a review that is just an opinion. Bend any Samsung battery cover and it will snap back with not breakage. Try taking an Apple or HTC One battery cover off and bend it and see what happens. Oh yeah. You can't. Dear Mr. Brome, I appreciate you think that your reviews are real-world however I think your comments most of the time are kind of ignorant. When I read you state the back cover is flimsy and I could see how to most people that it might be but bottom line is just because it is flexible does not make it "flimsy". Did you try to break it? Did you take a hammer to it? Take a battery cover ...

I will agree and disagree with you. :-) They actually did not make their "un-carrier" change until recently. So I doubt this had any impact on Q1 numbers. What helped them was MPCS at same time was losing subs. The past few years MPCS has been stealing TMO and SPCS subs. Recently MPCS stopped growing as they reached max capacity. I see TMO's strategy going bye, bye. It makes no sense. Once MPCS ...

Don't drop you shiny metal phone either. Just bc it is metal does not mean the glass cannot crack. If you drop a glass screen on concrete it will break no matter what is on the back!! Btw metal is less forgiving. Try dropping a metal phone on the edge. That glass will crack every time!! Because metal and glass don't mix. Also plastic is much better for the electronics. Umm. Horrible plastic builds? I actually prefer that. If you also look at the industry reports on reliability the "plastic" builds actually hold up better than some of the metal. I don't like the metal because it gets scratched easily, dents and just does not retain very well. I also find with the metal frame cases it cracks screens very easily because the metal is not as forgiving and the "plastic". Also you need a ...
