There is no charge to change your MTN, and it never extends your contract.

Do you have insurance? if so then yes you can get it replaced through the insurance company for $50 ( refurbished not new )
as for your second question.... yes ESN's ( electronic serial number ) dont lie... and are tracked, phones that are just added to your accnt w/o a upgrade have no warranty

you changed the resolution of the pictures more then likely? or some other similar setting.... for the pix you already took, prob only way to get those off is to use a usb sd card reader

The UI does not allow a V-cast Music song to be used as a ringtone.
You are able to DL the song you purchased for free via Windows Media Player in the v-cast online store... on your computer.... and then your options are endlesss~

First a rep(store or cust care) has to add the Chaperone Parent feature to a device(doesnt even have to be a chaperone capable phone..ie pda... you can just log into website to track where your unruly child/significant other is at)
Then you add the Chaperone Child Feature to child phone $9.99... and for all child phones except the migo/3450L you need to Downloand & install the "chaperone" GIN application... not to be confused with the "chaperone parent" ...

If you are just looking to use it as a parent device call customer care again, and TELL them to add the Chaperone Parent feature to your line....
What device are you using for the child phone? its possible thats the one that isnt chaperone child capatable....?
Chaperone(child) is on lots of phones. Originally it was on the Migo then LG3450L, since then it has moved to 8500, 8550, 9900, 8300, 8700, krzr, max ...

kinda, but they are seperate things, and it has only launced on select phones.
You can go to vzw.com/espn then go to the bottom of the page under the middle section "the mvp's of espn mvp" if you have your mouse over it, and then click on "View all compatable phones" to see what phones have it currently.

The "auto-sync" feature can Only be enabled/disabled online... You are able to set/change the time it backs up on a daily use on the phone it self.
So i assume it was diabled sometime on the website... vzw.com/backupassistant
If it shows its enabled there, do like carfanatic2 said, remove the application from the phone and re-download it.( DO NOT delete contacts from phone)
If that doesnt fix it, call Data Support @ 611 and have them file a troule ticket.

With the Mobile Office Kit you get software created my SMith Micro, its called Mobile PhoneBook Manager.
It allows you to sync calendar/contacts to/from the phone.
You are able to import/outport with outlook/outlook express with a push of the " Import and or Export" button on the application.
You can also import/export any CSV file as well

If you only want to sync calendar/contacts physically with your computer you can purchase a Mobile Office Kit, it comes with software that allows you to sync them both. Costs around $40 i think.
You can Import/Export with outlook/outlook express or any CSV file as well.

If files are listed as "track 1, track 2" it is because that is what you named them on your computer, remove them from the card or format it if thats easier...
Correct the info in explorer or with Windows Media Player, again whatever is easier for you...
Drag/drop them into the "My_Music" folder.
If you want to move video clips to phone, you will first change the file format into a " 3g2 " format, then drag/drop them in ...

It will work the same as your 8300.
If you got a new sd card, format it first to create the folders you need "My_Flix" ... to format go to Settings & tools -> Memory -> Card Memory -> Options(right soft key) -> Format -> Enter lock code(last 4 of mtn, unless you changed it)
Then move the 3g2 media files into the "My_Flix" folder

I can only assume by "died" you mean it fades out.... You can change the backlight settings within Settings & Tools > Display Settings > Backlight

I would format the card and start over.
Make sure all the files are MP3's as well before dragging and dropping them into the "My_Music" folder... also make sure they are not in any sub folders(ie Artist names) within the "My_Music" folder.
