Are you able to download the Blackberry App World for free? Or does it cost like Verizon does?
Re: So I called Telesales to order the Blackberry Tour today...
42101....but OTA and enhanced services will not work in my area. All I would have is Internet, E-mail and Voice....and if I have any problems with the device I'd have to drive almost two hours for the nearest store.
Re: So I called Telesales to order the Blackberry Tour today...
First of all, backorder does not mean sold out it means "Sprint didn't have enough phones in stock when they launched the phone i.e. they screwed up".
And Verizon Wireless does not have service in this area but I do customer service for them. Thus I cannot get a Verizon Wireless phone because they legally cannot sell it to me under Federal law.
Next time you want to reply with a sarcastic response, get your information right. Sprint screwed ...

Re: So I called Telesales to order the Blackberry Tour today...
They didn't already sell out of the phone. They have had it back-ordered since Sunday. People who placed orders Sunday did not even receive their devices yet (or are you hiding under a rock?). They blew it. They botched the launch. Deal.
Re: DSJ... what did sprint say?
GIVE US OUR PHONE SPRINT!!!!!
Re: Annoyances with the Tour
Sounds like the majority of the issues you have is not with the phone, but with VZW (BT disabled, Firmware upgrade disabled, pre-loaded apps can't be deleted).
Re: Where is my friggin phone?
I also attempted to order the Tour today via telesales. They also said they were out of stock and backordered. I was going to switch to Sprint since we don't have verizon in my area. I've pretty irritated already at them and realize that maybe this is not the company that I want to get involved with. If this is just the start of how their service is then I'm undecided. I was going to leave T-mobile and my ...
So I called Telesales to order the Blackberry Tour today...
And they were out of stock. I was going to be a brand-new customer switch my services from my T-mobile Blackberry Curve 8900 to the Tour, but it looks like that is not going to happen now. Seriously I work for Verizon and we've have dozens of them lying around. Way to blow it Sprint!
Re: sure there is
Yeah the reviews hating on the Tour are completely ridiculous. These people do not deseve to have an amazing piece of hardware like the Tour.
Re: BB mAgnum
LOL this picture is a joke, but the Blackberry Magnum does exist according to RIM insiders. Supposedly it is a Qwerty and a Touch-screen but all the problems that the Storm had with the SureType they it back to the drawing board. Makes sense.
Great news!
While I'm sad the Tour 9630 does not have WI-FI right now, this is good news. The CDMA Blackberries need to catch up to the rest of the GSM carriers. I'm all for Blackberry fairness on all networks! Keep up the good work Verizon and Sprint. Now if only pictures of the Blackberry Magnum would surface....
Re: so impressed..
It's the same resolution that the Curve 8900 has, so yeah it's pretty much the most gorgeous screen ever!
Re: on the market for
No the Sprint and Verizon Tour will not have WI-FI
Re: BlackBerry Tour Releases July 12, 2009
Yeah, the Blackberry Bold is painfully outdate next to the Storm, Curve 8900, and Tour 9630, but I found out that Sprint does not have 3G in my area, so it looks like I will be sticking with the T-mobile 8900.
Re: Thinking about switching to Sprint...
Well Verizon Wireless does not have service in my area. But then I found that Sprint does not have 3G in my area either. So it looks like I'm sticking with T-mobile and the Curve 8900
Re: BlackBerry Tour Releases July 12, 2009
Yeah I'm thinking about giving up my Curve 8900 and T-mobile and getting the Tour! The only thing is the lack of WI-FI....
Thinking about switching to Sprint...
This is the phone I want. I have the same basic phone minus the keypad and 3G (Curve 8900), but the 8900 has Wi-Fi, so I can't decided if I want to switch or not. Oh well I guess I'll wait until I can play with it at the store. Pretty impressive considering the Pre couldn't convince me to switch, but the Tour might just make me!
Re: I already said this
Okay what do you know about the Blackberry Driftwood then?
Thinking about switching to Sprint for this device, but not convinced
So I went into the Sprint store, and they had two Palm Pre's Left. I really like the idea of the phone and I've always been a palm fan ( I prefer Blackberry's but the Palm OS has always appealed to me as well), and there were things I really liked about the phone. Flicking applications, the screen, the OS, all seemed very cool. But the thing that makes me hesitant is the build of the phone. It felt ...
HTC Touch Pro 2, and HTC DASH 3G Leaked in new T-mobile add!
Yes the new T-mobile add includes the HTC Touch Pro 2, and the HTC Dash 3G and I say, they both look sweet. I might pick up the Dash 3G as a backup phone to my Curve 8900.
Re: T-Mo's dropping prices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah the Blackberry Driftwood/Onyx, which looks amazing! 3G, Optic Trackball, WI-FI, 3.2 Megapixel camera, this phone has everything.
And for the cheaper crowd, the Blackberry 8520, which also has a optical trackball. It's good to see T-mobile dropping their prices to clear room for the beast that is the Driftwood!
Re: One feature at a time
I do applaud them for trying to expand with quality features, and the new changes will be nice. I just can't help but feel cheated a bit, I was super excited all weekend waiting for a shiny "new" Iphone, and this is what I get.
I would be way more excited if I didn't feel that some of these features should have been in the phone when in launched in 2007.
I mean at least give us a new, ...
Re: HA HA! TAKE THAT PALM PRE!!
quite an immature topic
Borrringg
Where is the new design? And the name? Don't make me yawn. C'mon Apple you can do better than that!
Re: Looks like the Blackberry Pearl Flip is Coming soon!
I know! So disapointing to have solid silver Blackberry, I pray to God the Tour doesn't come out in silver, that would be very disapointing
Re: BB Tour vs EnvTouch
Also Blackberry Messenger, Gorgeous display, a Qwerty Keypad (which RIM Does best), Pandora Radio (best APP ever), Blackberry Facebook App (best on the planet), Twitterberry app, Blackberry Status phone, Beautiful sophisticated design...3.2 megapixel camera, Opera Mobile.....
Re: BB Tour vs EnvTouch
The Tour will make all your dreams come true. Can the EnVTouch do that? I think not.
Re: Looks like the Blackberry Pearl Flip is Coming soon!
*groans* why silver though? It looks great with the Black and Silver that the 8220 has.
Re: Verizon reps sure do know a lot!
Amen about the MIR pararaph!
Re: Official comment from Palm
Verizon's CEO stated that they would have it in six months. How do you take "I can't comment on unannounced relationships" that Verizon is not getting it? If you are a Sprint/CDMA fan I would think you would want Verizon to get it before the GSM carriers do. Let's enjoy this age of cellphones and stop being fanboys.
Re: RUMOR
No the Rumor is a phone with a slide-out QWERTY by LG. HAH HAH HAH
Re: Oh no.
"...if your service with at&t sucks its because you have a bad phone with a bad sim."
This is an interesting comment to make while defending AT&T against Verizon. Since very few Verizon phones use SIM cards they totally eliminate the chance of getting a "bad sim". Also if you are in a metropolitan area ATT&T might be awesome, but honestly this company is a joke. Service is awful, customer service is awful, plans and marketing are painfully outdate. ...
Blackberry Curve 8900 vs. HTC G1
Please tell me what phone I should get and why. I can't decided between the two!
Re: Release Date of Curve 2 for verizon????
There is no such thing as the Curve 2...the Curve 8900 for T-mobile was a simple evolution of that form factor. There is a Curve/Bold Hybrid coming soon for Verizon, but it is not the same phone that T-mobile has. Sorry
Re: Need Help...T-mobile exchange policy on 2-year Flex pay!
so I play $10.00 plus the $100.00 difference in price and walk out with the same plan, same number and Curve 8900 correct?
Need Help...T-mobile exchange policy on 2-year Flex pay!
Hey Guys,
I got the BB Pearl Flip yesterday, and while it is an amazing phone, I think I'd rather have the new Curve 8900....Does anybody know what their exchange policy is on the 2-year Flex Pay contract? Am I able to just take back the Pearl Flip and exchange it for the Curve 8900 and just pay the price difference and restocking fee? Please help me out, thank you so much! Loving the T-mobile service in my area btw! ...
Re: SPRINT FAMILY LOCATOR SAVES THE DAY
That's pretty awesome!
