Re: Nice Feature
Sprint's $69.99 plan already includes unlimited text and data, above the 450 anytime minutes to landlines, unlimited calls to wireless, and unlimited N&W starting at 7.
Unbeatable deal in my opinion.
Re: You Guys Know Best
I sell AT&T's BB8900. From what little I've seen of it in action, it's a pretty sweet phone. Smooth OS (something you can't say about most BBs..), fast download speeds... can't really say anything bad about it.
Re: All This Exclusivity Talk... [another iPhone thread]
My sentiments exactly. You're a T-Mobile customer and want an iPhone? Get a jailbroken one, or get a myTouch. Verizon? Storm. Sprint? Pre or Touch Diamond. The iPhone is nothing special, it's just the brand name. Besides, AT&T's iPhone plans are horribly expensive compared to comparable plans with other carriers.
In a word, if you're one of those whining about wanting an iPhone with your carrier, get over yourself and look at what your ...
Re: Most rollover minutes you have seen..
Wow. He must have either had a 3000-6000 min family plan while only using 100-1500 min, or someone gave him a LOT of courtesy rollover minutes.
Re: PORQUE!!?!!!
Close enough. It's still amusing to me.
Re: WTF
I love selling Sprint. It's soooo easy to bring people in with the attractive plans and the trial period. I get more ports from Verizon and AT&T to Sprint than anything else I sell.
Re: redbull
Warm Redbull is worse. It literally tastes like urine.
Not that I know what urine tastes like, mind you.
Re: PORQUE!!?!!!
I think the most amusing thing about the Spanish language is that they have a single word for both a question and its most common answer.
"Why?" "Because."
"Porque?" "Porque."
Re: Just answer the question!!!!!
How can this person expect you to help them if they're given you no help toward finding out who they are?
Re: DONT CALL JUST GO
YES, LOUD NOISES!
Re: DONT CALL JUST GO
I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE YELLING ABOUT!
Re: is it another iPhone killer????
The Pre is brand new. How many apps were out for the iPhone two months after launch?
Re: KARMA
Nope. You'll get the same dumb customers, but instead of buying nothing from you, they'll buy a car charger.
Re: The Shack has Arrived...
WE ARE THE SHACK. YOU WILL ASSIMILATE. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.
Re: Sprint's new MiFi service item...
Possibly, but I'm willing to bet those users would go over the 5GB limit with an aircard too. I always stress the 5GB limit, and to closely watch the amount of data used to every customer I sell an aircard/Mifi to.
Re: Laptop connect plans...
If you live in the Midwest, Alltel is still available. $60/mo, no cap, only a one year contract is required in some areas (check with your local store).
Re: Cheaper ATT plan?
There is a $40/mo LaptopConnect plan, but it only provides 50MB of access per month, which isn't much. Tethering a PDA or Blackberry would also cost $60/mo, but would include Internet access for the phone as well.
Re: Iphone for Verizon customers?
Another "iPhone on (insert carrier other than AT&T)" question? You could set your watch to these. No, Verizon nor Sprint nor T-Mobile nor MetroPCS nor Cricket nor Boost is getting the iPhone anytime soon, and I'd imagine AT&T will give Apple the world to extend their exclusivity agreement with them if and when it does end.
Can we stop asking now?
Re: WHERE IS THIS PHONE?
Do you honestly expect any answers different from those you got when you made this exact thread last week?
Re: SciPhone (iPhone clone) support
Protip: Any iPhone clone is not worth the plastic it's made of.
Re: I need a relese date for ..
I've seen those as well, but all I've seen are fuzzy photos of what looks like a Touch Pro2 with a VZW logo. What I consider concrete proof that one is coming is FCC-cleared documents, official VZW press releases/teaser advertising featuring the phone, etc.
Re: I need a relese date for ..
Well, by the tiny bit of research I've done on this subject, T-Mobile's version is slated for an August release date. If T-Mobile has any exclusivity rights to it in the US, it could be anywhere from six months to a long, long time from then. On top of that, I've found no hardcore proof that a CDMA version of the Touch Pro2 is even in the works, so my answer with that information at this point ...
Re: Is a smart plan needed?
They're basically just following the same guidelines as other carriers. I defy you to find a carrier that allows you to have a Blackberry or other smartphone like it on a basic plan.
Re: HECK YES
I've never seen a rep for a handset manufacturer before. Carriers are a different story, though.
Re: Who Dated their customer?
I met this girl on Facebook and the first thing we talked about was my job, I ended up selling her a phone and she put her new number in the contacts list on my phone while I was programming hers. We dated for a few weeks and called it quits when we realized we didn't really like each other outside of the bedroom.
Re: I happen to have
The Exclaim does have threaded SMS, all Sprint phones with OneClick do.
Re: but first
RadioShack does treat their employees well. I work in one of the Sam's Club kiosks you mentioned, and while my pay rate isn't as high as corporate stores, I can easily double my hourly rate on a good week in commission, which really gives me a reason to know the products I'm selling. I've heard time and time again from my customers that we're much more knowledgable and helpful than the corp locations in the area.
Re: LG Etna?
Oh, it's called the Tritan. Hmm, the Etna must be something completely different that we're getting soon as well...
Thanks for the info though! :)
LG AX840 Etna?
I'm an Alltel indirect dealer (divested), and my store just got a dummy model of an LG AX840 Etna. It's a touchscreen with a slide-out keyboard ala HTC Touch Pro, 3MP camera... anybody know anything about it? I never heard of the phone, let alone the price point or any other features.

Re: Insurance Besides Asurion
My store's parent company (RadioShack) sells their own protection plan for either $60 or $125. It's harder to sell than Asurion, though, in my opinion, because our coverage doesn't include theft/loss and physical/moisture, only what the manufacturer covers plus battery and normal wear and tear.
Re: @ the week so far
I'm just in a Sam's Club Kiosk, and even here we've been doing well. Three times goal in revenue Monday, twice our goal yesterday.
Today we're looking at finishing under goal, but hey, we can afford to do that right now
Re: PRE and the free& clear family (with data)
This, unfortunately, is what we as Sprint sales reps must look forward to in the coming weeks - a ton of Sprint customers eager to get the Pre, but leaving emptyhanded and angry when they can't get it without a plan change. Pretty much the same as last year with the Instinct, except a lot more people want this one
A Short Play by sckoisks17
*ahem*
An AT&T fanboy before this announcement.
"The Pre is going to FAIL! Nobody wants to learn a new OS, nobody wants Palm's crappy applications... the iPhone is, and will always be, the best thing out there!"
An AT&T fanboy after this announcement.
"Awesome, the Pre will come to AT&T! This is going to blow everything out of the water - even the iPhone! I'm getting one at launch, even if I have to pay full retail!"
Thank you.
Re: T-Mobile Samsung Alias
No, the Alias cannot be activated on a T-Mobile account. The Alias is a CDMA phone, while T-Mobile uses a GSM network, thus they are incompatible.
Re: Will this work on 'PRE'paid?
Boost has its services available on the CDMA network as well, and sells Moto C290, KRZR and W385 devices.
Re: Company Contradiction.....T-Mo
PTT... now there's a truly worthless service. Even with Sprextel it's worthless now, because it's no longer included in any plan besides Simply Everything, every Sprextel customer has unlimited mobile-to-mobile, and the iDEN network is so oversaturated with Boost customers that it's tough to even make a call now, much less text or use DirectConnect.
And I do apologize about my first post in this thread, I do not sell T-Mobile (heck, T-Mobile isn't even available in my area) ...
Re: Oh jeez, you're going to sell all 10 of them?
He's Dan Hesse's 10-year-old son, and his allowance was just cut by $500/week.
Seriously, though, VZW/ATT/T-Mo customers, have fun continuing to pay upwards of $130/mo for what Sprint customers are only paying $100/mo.
Re: Rumor has it...
If you buy it full retail, sure. Any Sprint/Nextel phone can be used on Boost's plans.
