Re: Will Verizon cripple the GPS on this phone too?
I hope they don't cripple the internal GPS. Maybe they could unlock the internal GPS on my Verizon Curve when this comes out :D
Re: Google Maps on the Q
I got the Google maps app to work on my Q.
Unfortunately, Verizon has crippled the GPS in the Motorola Q. Normally, Google Maps can use a phone's GPS to show where you are on the map. It is too bad Verizon doesn't allow that feature. I have heard that the Q from Alltel lets that feature work.
Re: Verizon V3M LAG LAG LAAAAAAAAAAAAG
Yep, it is the messages in the inbox/sent folder. If you keep those to a minimum, the phone is fast.
I also think the V3m is a good phone. I've had mine for 9 months without any issues.
Re: -- Unauthorized charger problem?
I got that error when I tried to charge from the USB port on my laptop. Never from the wall-charger. I wonder if your charger is going bad (hopefully not).
Bluetooth Headset on the V3m
I am using the Cardo Scala 500 Bluetooth headset with my V3m and finding it to work very well.
However, I am having one issue and am wondering if this problem is phone specific or Bluetooth headset specific:
I noticed that if I leave the Bluetooth headset powered-on and then power-cycle my RAZR, the connection between the two does not automatically restart, I have to push the "Control" button on the headset. Is that normal? Should my RAZR automatically reconnect to ...
WAP access?
I hope they include some sort of internet web browser... It seems like a pretty obvious thing to include. :D
Re: What gives?
I'd go for this thing, it seems pretty coo!
Re: New Sprint Phone? (Now that the Sanyo 6400 has been discontinued)
It sure would be nice though... Never say never...
New Sprint Phone? (Now that the Sanyo 6400 has been discontinued)
Now that Sprint PCS has discontinued the Sanyo 6400, I would like to see them introduce a new phone (with the same cool 6400 form factor) that would have everything on the list below (and more!?!?)
*WAP 2.0
*Java (J2ME)
*Bluetooth
*PTT
*Speakerphone
*Ref lective TFT Color Screen (w/ variable, light sensing, backlight)
*T9
*Candy Bar Form
*Li-Ion Battery
*Desktop charging stand option
*E911 (location detection & broadcasting)
