Re: Video
yes
Well, I'm not surprised.
I think the carriers announced definitely make the most sense.
Seems............
A little anti-climatic if you ask me. Hope the product is more exciting than the announcement.
Re: Rizr, sidekick 3, pearl?
IMO the Pearl is a much better choice. Battery life on blackberrys is always better but when it comes to texting, the sk3 can't be beat. That's not to say the pearl isn't good for texting. The rizr has the best camera, but not good enough to make up for the other shortfalls.

Re: T-Mobile cought sleeping behind the wheel again
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for pointing me in the direction of that forum!
Re: Slow movin towards 3G
Another thing a lot of people over look is T-mobile's tendency to be kinder to the smaller markets. While, obviously, the initial 3G launch will have gaps, it is likely that the service will eventually cover more areas than other carriers' 3G services. For example, I'm located in an area where nearly all other carriers have skipped over when it comes to high speed data. (look up zip code 83201 on any carriers coverage maps) My understanding is that ...
Re: About Time for HP
The press release on hp's website also mentions UMTS capabilities on both handsets, so us T-mo fans might get lucky.
Spot on...
Not one company is best for all. T-mobile will, however, give you an accurate representation of their coverage with the personal coverage check including how many bars of service one should expect at any given address.
making calls
You said
"However making calls works slightly differently, at least from the home screen, because of the MyFaves application. Instead of the green send key opening up a list of recent calls, it dials the person currently in front on the MyFaves application."
The Blast has a new myfaves feature that allows you to minimize the myfaves by pressing the disconnect key and they will reappear by pressing the ok key. When they are minimized, the green send key DOES bring ...
Re: well.
Actually, qwest has both. Well, technically there "wing" is the "mogul", but it's the same phone with faster data speeds.
Re: AOL and Yahoo...
Thanks a bunch, this was a ton of help!
Re: Samsung Blast
Exactly, I send and recieve as much as I want with my unlimited messaging plan. :D
Re: Price for Sprint
uh, seriously?
Re: razr 2 be spit hot fire for at&t and sprint
yeah, that's what it is
Re: Samsung Blast
this is definitely not true, i have the blast without t-zones and can use email just fine, except for my gmail. :x
Re: Price for Sprint
What I read said its just the price for new customers, no rebates.
Re: AOL and Yahoo...
I own this phone and work for a t-mobile dealer, but cannot get gmail to work. Any tips would be great. My yahoo works, but yahoo sux :x
Re: AOL and Yahoo...
The news brief mentioned gmail, any reason it doesn't work?
Re: Not Bad
just got the blast. i love it, doesn't feel "cheap" in my hand.
Re: oh how naive does google think we are... It ain't just Google
Qwest dared not to.
Re: Hmm...AT&T offers indie crap for $1.50. Sprint offers ANY song in their library for $.99
telling it like it is :)
Re: Hmm...AT&T offers indie crap for $1.50. Sprint offers ANY song in their library for $.99
Just clarifying, don't really want to be a part of the pissing match, don't sprint downloads only last for a certain amount of time?
Re: WOW
this company's a joke, if you look at the faq's, it tells you the only relationship they had with amp'd is that they use the same network. nobody's getting a deal here, unless you REALLY want to keep that amp'd handset.
Re: yesss!!!
ready link is worthless and on the way out
Re: Hmmm... A Little Off Topic But...
I'm an avid sprint hater, but have to agree here.
Re: Ok, I'll Say It...
No, never. But I work at a t-mobile store and watch people do it all day long.
Re: Ok, I'll Say It...
Oh, and I'm SURE they all read it.
Re: WOW! But You Seem...
You go girl! I mean, it's not like they advertise, "Free unlimited roaming, unless you use to much."
Re: Jayshmay, I'm calling you out
I have had two terrible experiences with Sprint, having their service and working in a Sprint call center. I STILL think they had every right to cut these losers loose.
Re: Now that I think about it...
I too, agree. My illustrious career path has included being a customer service rep for directv, qwest, and most recently, sprint, and I have had these types of customers call in. They're the reason I don't work in a call center anymore.
Re: Customer rationale and intelligence lacking in the USA
You're forgetting one important figure, the amount of credit this type of customer is squeezing out of customer service reps.
Re: Putting a wounded animal out of it's misery...
Seriously, and how do these people find the time to call in so much? It's blows me away.
Re: New trend in customer service
I just wish I had known this was gonna happen before paying my etf to escape sprint. I would have become one of those customers!
