where is this conversation going?...i know you dont activate a GSM phone..im sure we all know you can just buy a GSM phone and throw ur sim card in it..the point of this whole thing is upgrade fees...some people cant or dont want to pay retail price for a phone and thats why they upgrade for the 2 yr price. the original point for upgrade fees is a lil' cost recovery i believe. some think the 2 yr price ...

man ive worked here for 3 years and i can count on my hand how many people upgraded from a 6010 or any nokia brick all the sudden are interested in getting GPS and willing to sign up for the unlimited media net in order to prevent usage charges. besides its a pantech, which has ranged from crappy to so/so at best depending on which model. ya theres people who want just a phone and those are the people ...

you could probably use if for a gophone but then you are looking at retail price for it unless you buy it from places like amazon or ebay or something like that. the reason the 2G iphone was like that was because it wasnt subsidized for any activation price. it was 3 and 400 either way. and yes iphone data isnt available on gophone.

ya....micro SD is very general when uploading music. the best thing to do is get a jumpdrive with a micro sd slot and plug it to the usb and upload using windows media. the speaker is pretty good on it. also offers stereo bluetooth.

there should be no problems with the keypad as far as the keys cracking(side note: at&t started honoring this problem through warranty with the w580i) because the keys arent built the same way. the 580 had kind of a "diving board" press to it and cracked if you pressed it toward the edge of the button. the 760 buttons are larger and offer better feedback

i work at at&t and i always thought this was redundant since you have to have the unlimited package anyway. therefore its not really free in a sense. honestly, its not big enough of a difference in speeds to make me even use the wifi at all. maybe if it was a blackberry 8310 with edge than it would be pretty cool but honestly whether im in a wifi spot or in my 3G service area i still get ...

after all the small "improvements" they say they made from the original V9, its still at an unattractive price $199? even though it has a $100 rebate after all is said still doesnt cut it. not saying it isnt a nice phone but nothing about it justifies me paying 200 bones in store to get it.

ya i gotta say the Samsung Epix looks waaaay better than the saga. seems like the specs and functionality are going to be the same (WiFi, winMo 6.1, touchscreen, mouse pad etc) or similar but for the simple fact the epix looks better and is gsm ill pass on the saga.

the duo was a nice attempt at a pda but not worth the money or the effort of using compared to other PDA's. i think pantechs making a good effort on their phones but they need a mulligan on this one.
