Need a new Verizon compatible phone, suggestions?

My Droid X is slowly dying and I need to get a new smart phone that will work with Verizon. I don't want to do another 2 year contract with Verizon though.. What are my options for a good 4G smartphone that won't break the bank? Hi, does anyone know if there's a way to minimize or hide yahoo IM but to keep it running (kind of like minimizing a program on your computer is what I'm asking) Thanks

A few questions about the 6126 which I just got today. If I want to put a custom song on there for a ringtone, what type of file (mp3/aac) should I use for best quality and what bitrate, frequency, stereo/mono, etc should be used for optimal sound on this phone?
