You're welcome my friend! I certainly was pissed off for a good 30 minutes over the issue... glad I spared at least 1 other person the same frustration!

If you were like me, and your calendar was all jacked up after installing the new Facebook 1.5 app, here's how you fix it: Options > Advanced Options > Default Services > Calendar (CICAL) Change the email address back to whichever one you want displayed on your Today theme

I can't get Youtube to work on this phone. I thought all 3G devices could visit youtube.com and watch videos, since they are capable of supporting streaming video....

Password Protected 8125 Help!!!
Sep 30, 2007, 12:04 AM
in the HTC 8125 / 8100 / MDA (USA) / K-JAM / P4300 (Wizard) forum

I'm trying to install windows mobile 6.0 for a friend on their 8125, but the phone is password protected. It will turn on, but before you can do anything, it requires a password, and since he doesn't remember it, I can't connect it to ActiveSync to do anything. Could anyone help me? Does anyone know how to get around this? Any help would be much appreciated.

The Tilt is coming out soon... its on the latest rebate sheet from AT&T! (Lol I know this is the Q9h forum, but I just had to respond to the above comment on the Kaiser) The Q9h would earn so many more bonus points if it had wifi....

There is a rebate, albeit $50 :( On a phone this expensive, it should be at least $100. We'll see if this changes....

I work for AT&T and I can tell you, for sure, that if you buy a phone and its still in like-new condition, you can swap it out within 30 days, no matter what. :D (why oh why does this phone not have wifi....)

The phone comes with a nice pair of earbuds. They produce great sound quality! I was very very surprised and impressed with their performance

Dang man, 3.5mm is standard size for most earphones, you don't have a pair? I find this way more convenient than the smaller jacks. I have a pair of Sony MDR-V700 headphones and this phone pushes them to the limit! SO loud and so clear! The bass really hits, too.

Re: Considering taking back my Nokia N75 and trading for a Curve

Trade for the curve and you won't be disappointed. This phone rocks as far as its organizational capabilities and media capabilities go! I have a $150 pair of headphones, and when plugged in to the Curve, it really pushes them! They're so loud, great bass, awesome sound quality, and on the highest volume its almost intolerable! This phone is killer, I highly recommend it. My eyes hurt because I haven't stopped playing with the ...

Really? It works? I'm paying $39.99 for unlimited internet plus 1500 text messages. I know the Media Max 1500 is $29.99, so it is a difference of $10....

Well, I won't get into specifics about how agents operate... :-D BUT What exactly was the price and what items came with it? I paid $300 with 2 YR agreement and $39.99 Unlimited internet + 1500 text messages, and I have a $100 mail in rebate (by the way, I work for'em, but i don't get anything free! I had to add a line to my existing account). Anywhoooo, the phone comes with earbud ...

How do you make it so that when an event reminder is set to go off, the phone makes a noise? I can't figure out how to set a ringtone or sound effect as a notification option. All the phone will do is vibrate :(

Big time pass on the N75. Have you seen the thing? Its like a brick! Terrible design. The sleek design, full keyboard, and endless features of the 8300 make it a must-have. I'd highly highly recommend the 8300. I have hardly put it down for a couple days. I love it more than any other phone I've ever handled, and I've had to thoroughly learn and test many many different phones. ...

I work for a Cingular agent store and I switch from Verizon the day I was hired and noticed a HUGE difference. To tell you the truth. Cingular (henceforth AT&T) has way way way better coverage than Verizon. AT&T blows Verizon out of the water, plus AT&T has the largest data network. I just bought the BB 8300 a couple days ago, and it is an INCREDIBLE phone! Its quadband, so you can use it ...
