https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p =1243 Looks like Alltel and Verizon will be getting this phone. I would assume pretty close to the same time just like the V3C. Alltel released first, then not even 2 weeks later Verizon released it.

Do you travel? Once again Alltel is a Regional Carrier. I live in Mississippi, but I know if I go to Virginia or Kentucky I will have service in these places. I have a Cing phone too, an Alltel beats them out 80% of the time. With Cingular you get full service or No service.

Alltel is a REGIONAL carrier with the largest nation wide calling area. Alltel has more service in more places than any other carrier in the nation. It does help having roaming agreements with Verizon and Sprint. Cingular has the most people, Sprint has stronger data, Verizon has the best phones (CDMA), Alltel has americas largest calling area.

The best that Alltel offers right now is the 1.3 MP camera. Although, in the 3rd quarter of this year Alltel is releasing the Razr 2 V9m. It is equipped with a 2mp camera. Also, I would try and stay away from the unlocked CDMA phones. Reason: Unless the phone can be flashed to put Alltel UI and Programming the phone will never work right. For sure. Sprint in Mississippi is almost a last resort. If you can't get a phone anywhere else, go to sprint. They will approve ya. Also, sprint is the only company I know of that has worse phones that we do! lol

Are you serious? Coming to an Alltel forum trying to get an old customer to come back to Sprint. Are you sales really that low this month? The grass is greener over here at Alltel, so go back to the Sprint forum!

Rich, why would carriers like Alltel release phones that are not EVDO? Ex. Moto Razr V3a and now the Lingo. EvDO is in over 50% of Alltels coverage area.

MEID Mobile Equipment IDentity An ID number that is globally unique for each new CDMA mobile phone in the world. It identifies that phone to the network, and can be used to flag stolen or lost phones. MEID is a replacement for ESN (electronic serial number). MEID began replacing ESN in 2005.

For me networking has been the key to success. If you sell a phone to one person, you should ask for a couple of referrals. Tell your friends to tell their family, and tell their family to tell their friends, and so on and so on. With every phone you sell you should get at least one referral.

Call you indirect agent. If the cs rep stole it from you they can put in a commission adjustment. That way you still get paid for the sale, and the cs rep did all the work.

Yep. They will ask you a couple of questions, and away you go. The only reason they wouldn't do this, is if your friend didn't pay her bill. If so that phone is locked to her account.

As long as you never try to use the data, Alltel will never make you pay for it. I have the Moto Q and I have never paid for a data plan.

Yes, you can. You have to go through a little more work, but you can do it. All you have to do is call 1-800-255-8351 from a phone other than you cell phone. Then you can just hit the 5 to go right to customer service. The best time to do this is early in the morning. If you don't want to do that, you can take it anywhere where Alltel phones are sold.

When a customer comes in to do an exchange or return does anyone else always become really nosey and go through their pics, videos, and ringtones? What is the best thing anyone has found?

For Alltel it is E815. For other carriers like Cellular One it would be the E816. It is the same phone.
