I would agree. I am one of those tenured reps you are talking about being ran out of the company. I would have been there for 6 years this month which doesn't seem very tenured but in the world of USCC, 6 yrs is a tenured rep as turnover is 1-2 years (Hence why they give you another full week of vacation after hitting your 3 yr mark). I worked at USCC for my last two ...

Phones are similar in price than before. You are still eligible for a discount every 18 months however you can lower that by buying down time using points. You can also use points to buy phones cheaper than normal but you won't be able to this round because you won't have any points initially. Eventually they will be going through and giving tenured customers a bucket of loyalty points based on years with us but that will ...

I am not certain exactly what PDF you are looking at so I don't even know how accurate this information is but let's pretend you are looking at the right information since I do know the right information. :) On a single line, if you take our most popular packages, add messaging and data, you are paying much less and you are contract-free. Not only that, those points "you may never use" will be used because you can upgrade ...

First, thanks for being a customer for so long as as one person already mentioned, tenured customers do receive a certain amount of loyalty points when they migrate right away. The new plans, which won't be on uscc.com until tomorrow, are bundled features. So in your case, assuming you are paying $75 for your plan, data and texting, the appropriate plan for you would be the Single Essential Plus. This plan includes 1200 minutes (with unl incoming, unl ...

This is true on some level, we aim for customers who are looking for quality and willing to pay for that. We also target customers who actually use their phones and pay their bills :). Every company, especially large, has target customers. This is nothing new or alien. In fact, most business plans require a target customer base.

A couple things on the last two posts. The first thing I would like to point out is the unhealthy obsession with being a USC naysayer, I would like to say "Thank You" to those arm-chair critics for contributing absolutely nothing. Second, as a USC corporate employee, I am probably on the lower-end of the "optimism" scale and I am still excited about this program on so many levels. There is nothing like it out there. Third, in regards ...

If you look at price initially, you are going to be sticker shocked. But if you look at what is included you will not be. Many of the things included in these plans are not even offered by any other large provider. Just the fact you don't have to sign another contract after the initial 2 year contract is fantastic, plus you're getting overage caps for voice and bundled plans that ARE less expensive if you ...

As a company-owned retail employee, we have known details since June of this year and now have all the information regarding the changes that will occur October 1. Although I can not, nor would I if I could, give specific details about what changes are going to occur, I can say that: - The changes that will occur are breaking new ground as far as post-paid service from a cell phone company as large as USC. ...

I am sorry to correct you but the 30-day exchange covers ALL post-pay customers who have replaced their equipement in the retail store. However for prepay phones it is only 15 days (which, would not affect you if you have a ROKR anyways). The phone needs be in in resaleable condition and if the phone is different in price, you pay it.

Verizon is a cesspool of poor customer service...confirmed..

Just read all these reps' negative posts. They're probably agents anyways, otherwise they could see bill images... It's good to know these reps would never make it at the wireless carrier I work for. If you are in a US Cellular area, port over your number. I guarantee we would not post you grievances online and your customer service will be great! Btw, if you are thinking about switching, remember to NOT cancel your existing service as the ...

I would disagree with this comment. I would say Motorola's have better reception overall but poorer battery life because they use more power and some slim models have smaller batteries. The new LG's have been performing great, especially in the rural areas I know about to be traditional "wireless holes." Granted this post was posted last month and the two recent LGs may not have been launched. As a rep, I used to live and breath Motorola ...

The phantom "50/50 Rule" mentioned in this thread is interesting...It does exist in some ways but not like it truly used to. The reason for it is due to Preferred Roaming Agreements. This is not company confidential..so I will disclose...We have preferred roaming agreements with multiple "big" CDMA carriers. We eat the costs of our customers roaming with said providers and to keep out nationwide plans from collapsing inwards, we must put some sort of limitation ...

In regards to tethering... I know there is some excitement here on this "bypass" but be careful as the network engineers can cancel a phone for tethering, I HAVE seen it done a few times...it violates the Customer Service Agreement. Just a heads up for those who are interested in tethering.

If a customer came into my store (a company owned store) I would definitely ask them to compare texting rates with other carriers. But then remind them texting is optional and not a required part of your cellular service. The precedence has been that you will still have to incur $150. I am sure if customers keep challenging these lines the terms and conditions at all the carriers, and keep bouncing around and causing money to ...

True...it's either cheaper or the same for other carriers. Plus, the terms and conditions have been challenged in the past and legal precedence has been that texting is a pay as you go (vertical) feature that is not required as part of your plan. You will still incur the $150 per line.

The earliest eligibility to renew a 24-month contract (and thus qualify for a discount on a phone) is 20 months from the date of signing. If you don't have insurance, you don't receive another phone unless you activate another USCC handset in the mean time. If you renew and buy another RAZR (if eligible), you won't be elig for a discount on the ROKR.
